The guy by the name kevin james called and told me his batch I'd#023794 that in next 45 min he is issuing the warrent for tax fraud and money laundering and he is irs fraudulent officer or contact irs and pay 5000 dollars to dissolve matter  for this I contact irs office and they informed me its ascam report it to fradulent deptl

i received call two days ago' call them back.he told  i will receive papers in mail.i call irs to ask about that' they check my record and told it is scam call.and tell me to report irs fraud dept.

I called the dudes, one of them is named Jonathan Lee, and another Kevin James, claim to be IRS Agents, when I pressed for detailes, they said they actually are not with IRS, and then they hung up........

I just got a message and the person...and he told me to call back on 202-509-0693 and that I would get a package in the mail ??  When I called back he verified my address (himself....I didn't give him any info)... and then asked if I got a package in the mail.  Crazy.  I tried to ask him when the original was send then he hung up.  Seemed rude and he didn't want to be on the phone for long.

I got a call from 1800 829 1040 and were asked to call back on their hotline no 292 509 0693.terrible exp .he told I will get papers in mail and hang up

There is a fairly common IRS or "tax scam" being practiced by scammers in both Canada and the USA.

Got a call from 800-829-1040. Asked us to call back 202-509-0693. The man at the number claimed to be the IRS Criminal Unit. When called they just said to wait for a mail package before talking to them. It was not clear if they are legitimate or not.  The man on the phone had a heavy Russian accent.

Received a call with a caller id of 800-829-1040 which is an IRS hot line number asking to call back this number for an IRS issue.  This is not a legitimate IRS phone number as stated by calling the official IRS hotline number.
