06/30/2011  4:45 PM PDT Got recorded message by person claiming to be Frank Travis. Pressed  1, to continue.  Changed to female's voice asking where I got most of my news from, pressed 1 for TV. Asked my age, pressed 58. Frank's voice returned, thanking me for my help.
I wonder if my age was a factor in determining to ask me more questions?

Got a call from this number.  No message, nothing.  I'm on the Do-Not-Call registry, &  just filed my complaint against this violater.

Okay, this is the first number that I've been able to google, however, I have had many annoying automated or not calls from various out-of-state places. Neither people nor recordings seem to have much sense or, for that matter, even know much about the person that they're calling. Who do I have to get into contact with to get them to stop this frustrating schtuff?

My caller ID says "TV Survey" (202) 552-1122.  The call came in on 5-21-08 at 7:16PM.  I am on the do not call list.  My answering machine picked up this call and I got a very very loud noise on my line.  It would not clear for over two minutes.

My caller ID says "TV SURVEY" along with this number. I picked up and it was a recorded message asking me to participate in a television survey. It wanted me to hit buttons in response to questions. I just listened until it gave up and hung up. This kind of call is technically illegal in WA state where I live because our state law says we have the right to a response to certain questions such as "What is the name of your company" and others that allow you to identify the caller. Since you can't do that with a recording, it is illegal. That doesn't stop 'em though! I will report it to my state AG and the FTC like I always do when my privacy is violated in such rude ways.

It was from a Company called TV Survey.  My number is on the do not call list.  I reported it.

Called me to the other night... makes me worry about being asked to press numbers because there have been some groups that "slam" your number by asking you to press a specific combination of numbers.  I've heard where the slamming can be as simple as changing your phone service to another company/service and as bad as them gaining access to your number to make all kinds of phone calls long distance and overseas.

Called me too, and I filed a complaint.

First call from TV Survey (202) 552-1122 today at ~15:30. After searching it I think I'm in for a rather annoying number of callat all hours of the day.

Somebody should whack these scumbags!

I got two calls from "TV Survey". I wasn't home but it showed up on my caller id. They called me on Sept 22 at 6:20 pm and again on Sept 23 at 5:25 pm. So doesn't seem like a random call but targetted and my number is registered on the Do Not Call Registry. I called the number back and there was a recording that said if you're calling to do an opinion survey to call during business hours (yet they tried calling me after business hours) or to leave a message. Seems like lots more of these annoying callers these days. So much for the Registry.

Call came from D.C. to Kansas at 19:20 hours on 9-25-08. Call not answered, but on another site, a poster followed through.

An automated voice asked only two questions and were to be answered by pressing 1 or 2. The questions were. 1. Do you frequently or infrequently watch local news programming? 2. Do you consider yourself Spanish speaking or other?

Harmless, but irritating. Although it's nice to know the illegal alien hoards will now get all kinds of junky telemarketer calls.

I got a callfromFrankTravis today -- lasted a couple seconds and they didn't need to continue when I gave them my age (over 18-24)!

I received a call from this company (Frank Travis TV Survey) on my home phone which is A) unpublished, nad B) registered on the Do Not Call List.  I don't have Caller ID, so I can't verify that this is the number.  I pressed ) for Operator to ask how they got my number and to take it off thier list, and I got "Thank you for your time.  Your responses have been recorded."  I suspect they are using an autodialer.  Does anyone know how to file a complaint on this?

Received unwanted call. Disturbing evenings.

TV Research Company called about a TV survey.  I didn?t respond, but I didn't hang my phone up.  When you don't hang your phone up, it ties up the other caller line.  After about 15 minutes a lady came on the line and asked me to hang up my phone.  I told her not to call me again, and she agreed.

I think this is from IC system which is a collection co. They use this to see if they can get people to answer the phone if they have not been able to get you to pick up using one of their many other IDs. At any rate I'm on the national and state do not call list so I will report them if I get more calls from them...I would say do not answer to this number if you have been getting calls from IC.

Wait long enough without responding, and they will give you a toll-free number at the end. If we all call this number repeatedly, ewe can annoy them for awhile.

got a call from 202-540-5123; automatic voice saying they were doing a survey about what should be on tv; I am on the do not call list, but since there is too much garbage on tv I decided to do the survey.  Said to press "1" to do survey, I pressed "1".  Said to press my age, I pressed "57", then it thanked me and hung-up.  Never did ask me any questions.  Very Strange!!!

They called me too! They asked all kinds of questions like did I really think Obama was going to pay my mortgage and did I like the fact that now 20% of the taxpayers will pay 100% of the taxes? That is so silly.Who cares if the government bought GM, and Fannie May and Freddie ruined our equity and lives. I don't care. I qualify for so much government aid now it is awesome!
We have such a nice looking couple running the country now, that is all that matters. Besides we deserve what we get, we are such a big bully in the world, I don't care if North Korea bombs us. Or Iran. We deserve it, right?

My husband took the call. Started answering the questions asked as though it were a survey by punching in numbers for various answers to questions they asked. Then it became apparent it was all about terrorism and how they could put fear in the public by just asking questions about terrorists. Like how afraid are you we'll have a domestic terrorist attack, push 1 for you are very likely, etc. And And how afraid are you your own city will be a terrorist target, domestic or foreign, and how likely are you to keep a watchful eye on anyone suspiciously taking pictures and standing around.... push 1, 2, 3 or 4, etec, etc.

My opinion: Do you feel less safe now?? Are you afraid yet? Gotta be a typical Republican/WingNut/Paranoid robocall tactic.
