Caller ID and person says this is Citizens United. The caller then proceeded to tell me about a Mr. Morris who is concerned about what Hillary Clinton's bid for presidency would do to our country. (I am very concerned about this as well and do NOT want her to win.) I did not have time to listen the second person that came on the line. I asked for a web site so could do more research on this. They do have a good web site at citizensunited.org for more information about them.

I'm tired of these people calling me all hours of the day and night.  I'm a senior and take naps.  Inevitably, guess when they call?

Rec'd call from Citizens United 2049hrs (EST) F:11/9/7 @ home - entreating my participation in donating $100 to Newt Gingrich's documentary to restore biblical values to our children & our homes. I was asked to listen to Newt taped, so I did - he plead for involvement in his project re our declining moral status in America. Following this plea, the gentleman sought my giving to make possible this film. When I asked to see the film, he indicated this would be in libraries after it is completed, and with my donation of at least $50 I would get a complimentary copy. My insistance to see the video first(or DVD)convinced the caller I was not an easy target for any scam.

I want to do whatever it takes to get these sobs to quit calling 10 times a day.  My number has been registered with the National DO NOT CALL LIST.

Now I know why Citizens United doesn't leave any message when they call me all the time. I don't pick up because I don't want to be asked for money I don't have and I'm not giving money to a cause to help Newt Gingrich restore values to our country.

They keep calling and asking for my wife. I told them "whatever you need to ask her you can ask me" and was hung up on. They continue to call though. Each time it's someone new. I have told them to stop calling but they won't.

I wish these people would get a life and leave me alone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did get a person once and told them to put my number on their do not call list.

Received several calls today.  When I answer, no one is on the line!!  This is intrusive and annoying as I have to stop doing whatever I am doing to answer the phone.

Telemarketers.......don't they have a life? They call constantly and I just ignore them. Evidentially the "Do Not Call" registry can't catch everyone.

I received a call from 2025521968.  The caller wanted to know if they could do a survey.  I said yes.  When he asked "Do you think all American know Obama's true agenda".  I said, "yes".  And they he proceeded to try and tell me something.  I asked, I thought this was a a survey question and answer and not was political sales pitch.  I'm adding my name and comments to the many negative ones that I have read already.

They've been calling at least twice a day, just about any time.  Hawaii time zone, so midnight in the 202 area code.  We picked up a couple of times and no answer so now I won't even pick up if I can see it's Citizens United.  I think they might have started out with a pitch once, but I interrupt every single pitch with "I never donate to people who solicit via the telephone."  It usually shuts them up really fast.  This group keeps up the calls though.

Just filed a complaint with the "do not call" registry.  (Since it's a governtment agency, that's probably like tossing mud into a pigpen, but at least I tried to do something constructive.)  And thanks to Citizens United, I ordered a new telephone system that will allow me to block every unwanted telephone call/number I receive from now till I die!  Thank you Newt, Bossie, and every other cretin associated with this asinine organization!  You got me off my duff!

I followed the advice of the previous poster and looked them up on whois.net. The number to call is (202)547-5420. Tell the one that answers the phone that you have a complaint and explain that you are receiving harassing phone calls. The lady that I talked with was very nice and took my name off their calling list.

4:40pm - They just called me... I am calling them back..."approximate wait time will be one minute"....hmmmm....I don't type THAT fast.... wonder how long they'll keep playing the smarmy music in my ear...I'll let you know... good thing I pay one rate for all the long distance I can use during a month...hhmmm hung up on me... called back and my wait time is now three minutes... looked them up on the web.. their web page is down (and looks like the isp took it down on purpose).. looked the url up on whois.net and now have the admin contact for the web page... will call that the next time they hang up on me...I did get a live body when I called the Administrative Contact listed at: http://www.whois.net and the gentleman said he'd remove my phone number from their call list.

We receive approximately two calls a day from this number and have answered the call only one time.  Since then I have called and gotten nothing but a buzzing noise.  I am also on the do not call list, but one never has a chance to say that or anything else.  I think one possible way might be to encourage a 30 minute conversation and then tell the person where to go in no uncertain terms.  They have no right to place these calls.  I just called the number above, but only recorded messages.  If we answer and listen, we just need to make certain that we are talking to a person a nd not listening to a machine.  I have done that before and it stopped another agency from calling again.  Good luck.

At last, somebody on the phone.  They wanted me to donate for their new political hit piece on Barack Obama, sort of like their political hit piece "Hillary the Movie".  Told them no money because of the previous harassing nature of the other calls from them.  Suspect that they may be building a predictive calling data base.  Or they may just call people like crazy, that way there is always a "live" caller available when their telemarketer completes the current call.

They call, and hang up when I answer.  They'll never get a dime from me.

Since they keep calling us repeatedly, why not inundate them with e-mails?

They drive me crazy!!!  I never answer it though, and from reading what everyone else has posted I'm glad I don't.  Telling them not to call sounds like a waste of time.  Oh well, if they have nothing better to do than repeatedly call someone who doesn't answer, then so be it.

The first time they called, the first thing out of the woman's mouth was, "Are you pro-life, or pro-choice?"  I couldn't believe the gall!  I asked who she was and represented and she told me Citizens United..blah blah blah.  Even though I agreed with her stance politically, I couldn't bring myself to support an organization with such guerilla marketing tactics.  Now they call at least once a week.  Drives me crazy.

Calls every day around 8:00 AM and again at night. They never leave a message, so I do not answer the call but that does not stop them from calling every day.

The do not call system is for telemarketers only. These creeps are nothing but that ^&^&*^*&^*^Creeps.

I received frequent calls from this number.  When I would pick up there would be nobody there.  I finally started calling them back EVERYTIME the called me.  Would leave a message indicating my extreme frustration and the face that if they didn't stop I would seek legal recourse.  Calls stopped within two days!!

Extremely annoying. They call repeatedly. I stopped answering the phone when I see it on the caller ID.

They used to call all the time, but since I started messing with them they rarely ever call, and then they hang up on like the first ring! I answer the call, and talk like really s  l  o  w  and it drives them nuts. Then I tell them all of the things I am frustrated about that happened that day. I basically use them as free therapy. Then I say well let me get you that credit card number. I made up a card number of 9682-7383-7978-8743 which is (YOU-ARE-VERY-STUPID see phone keypad) When they say it is not a valid card, I start rambling about the men who sold me a bad card... and hang up on them... I love this!! Oh if you are worried about the credit card number I use don't, MasterCard starts with a "5", Visa a "4", Discover a "6", no cards start with a "9".

I'm getting calls every single day from this number.
Please help stop this!!!
