no response to hello, hang up after a minute or so. Hmmm, some subliminal one can't hear may be? Or just putting together a list of phone numbers where women reply?

Voter Roll Call called me and hung up. I traced their name to callco.com I then looked up the domain callco.com It is registered to a company called Hypotenuse in Verona NJ 973-857-8500. Call them and waste THEIR time.

Calling 973-857-8500 gets you to a phone tree, at least on the weekend. There are assorted cutesy options that suggest to me they hear a lot from angry victims. I really would like to give them a piece of my mind and will keep trying. Maybe if they ever actually connect I can find out who's paying them to harass me at home and go after the ones paying the bill. I imagine these guys have lots of defenses to keep from hearing from the people they annoy, but you gotta try something.

Received a voicemail asking me to take a two minute survey. The voicemail did not even give the name of the organization doing the survey.

recieved several calls on the weekends, I did not answer, but this is really annoying.

Voter roll call?  Trying to make sure there's no voter fraud in your area?  Verify time of vote, votes for big races, etc.

They've called several times in the past few days... We answered once and had a quick hang up as well! I wish they would just lose our # and leave us alone...

Phone rang. I answered. Nothing for 10 seconds then they hung up. WTF!!!

Just received this call at 8:45.  Don't know if its telemarketer or another of those stupid and annoying political polls.  Isn't there supposed to be a limit to how late these idiots can call and disturb people.  I just had my little one to sleep and now have to start over again.

Phone rang, waited for caller ID to display name & phone number.  Picked up phone but did not say "hello" or anything else.  After a couple seconds, automated message started to give spiel asking us to visit their website (stupid)voter(fat)roll(annoying)callDOTcom.  Parenthesis placed to avoid linking to their site.

I didn't go to the site, since they should not be rewarded for bothering me with a pre-recorded message which, last I knew, was not supposed to be legal.

One other thing I thought of: if they set up their autodialer to only call one number every few minutes, then they theoretically could link the IP of a hit soon afterward to a specific phone number.  This would be an interesting data collection method.

I didn't check caller ID before I answered as I was expecting a call on sunday evening... no response to my "good evening"... hang up within 10 seconds.

So I was sitting here thinking about how theyre like spies, thousands of them and then some girl said "why are you so upset with your life?" and I said., well,. because of this exactly. Why do you, a voice unknown to me, bother with my frustration? What good will we focus on instead. So then, seconds later, my telephone rings., I answer with a "HellO." and the person says nothing and hangs up 8 seconds later. its a 202 number., now im upset because someone just called me and hung up during a time of serious contemplation. so i call the number back, and get answer service. I look the number up on the internet and it belongs to the ("Biblically Inspired") Concerned Women For America (.org) had called me and hung up. Like divine inspiration., WASHINGTON D.C.'s Concerned WCFA.ORG had decided to give me a ring... why. Just to let me know theyre abunch of telemarketers working for a higher level of telemarketing insanity. Or  theyre a bunch of Do Gooding Telemarketers., Mickey Mouse Club... Its probably some fake gov operation.  Caution: If you are potentially altering the world consiousness, you may be interupted. You know how many telemarketers have crashed into my car because theyre too busy dialing they dont see me. The purpose of telemarketing is this: STOP and ANSWER YOUR PHONE. Why? So all those who run telemarketing agencies should just shut up and send me all your money, i accept internet money also. Go upgrade your plumbing and business' structural techniques instead of calling up troubled youths of america and hanging up on them... ::click::
