I just received a call that showed up unknown caller. The lady had a thick accent and kind of rude. She told me I was chosen to receive a government grant for $7900.00 for paying my taxes on time and never filing for bankruptcy. Free grant. Tax free. Never have to pay back. Then she gave me a number to call and an ID number. So I called just because I was curious. The lady that answered sounded just like the First Lady and she only said hello. I said hello back then she said are u calling about a grant? I said yes so she told me I had to purchase a green dot moneypak and put $200 on it. I started to ask a question and we were suddenly disconnected. She was also rude and like I said before sounded just like the one that called me in the beginning  a friend told me I should google the # and thank God I did. I can't afford to lose $200.00. It pays to be leary

I received a call from 2025597868 stating that I am one of 1500 people that have been chosen to recieve a $7900 grant from the government. In which I pay no taxes on or ever pay back. All I need to do is purchase a green dot money pack and upgrade it with a minimum of $200. I don't have it so I haven't done it. Fortunately,thaks to my mom, I looked up the number and found y'all. Thank you everyone for posting. Y'all saved my neck.

I get this call from a middle eastern guy that promised me $7900 as a free government grant.  The number came up on my phone as 000-000-0000.  He told me that if I call 202-559-7868 I can get this grant that never gets paid back.  I told him that I don't believe him and I will never call this number.  Then I read about all the people that paid money and got ripped off.  Of course they did.  There is no free lunch y'all!!!

I got a phone called from number 2025597868 telling me that i had 79999 dollars from the government but i need to pay a Paypal and deposit $299 but it was a scam dont fall for its a lie they only want to steel your money

man called saying to wire 300 then 500 lost 300 before i figured it out same number aldo #2025597868

Things to believe:

* There ain't no such thing as a free lunch (TANSTAFL)
* If it looks too good to be true, it probably is.
* You have not won big bucks from an unknown government benefactor <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
* The tooth fairy really does not exist
* Everything you read on the internet is not necessarily true.
* It is illegal to pay money for a loan, BEFORE getting the loan!
* "Free Trips" are loaded with mandatory & costly extras, and you usually must give them your card number after listening to a loooong spiel at a hotel.

I gave $300, then $195, $133 for a total of $625.00. I'm am so screwed

I'm so sad this guy (John Rice) he called and told me to pay $299.00 for $7,900.00  from the Federal Grown Money and the second time he told me to pay $379.00 for processing paper, I pay all of those in one time, and he told me five to seven minute the MONEY must be IN my account, I'm so tire for waiting, the next day I called him (John Rice) I'm not receive anything, and he told me to pay $275.00 for state tax......Oh man, now I know these kind of people are using Government for lying people for getting their money, but let me tell you this, IT'S GOOD FOR YOUR MOUTH, AND IT IS VERY BAD FOR YOUR STOMACH, you like to feed your wife and your kids with the BAD MONEY.....YOU CANNOT HIDE FROM ME, I CAN FIND YOU WITH MY PRAYER...GODS KNOW EVERYTHING

I have gotten the same call by 202-559-7868, they told me it was for a school loan that i had recently applied for and now that i remember i do not remember ever applying for a grant, because i am waiting until i hit the university.. well they got a lot of money out of me, and wanted me to give them $667 dollars for the IRS. my boyfriend and I got screwed out of so much money.... i even looked up the number, and the funny thing is, nothing came up when i put this number into google. i am going to file a police report! make sure you google the number with anything they ever say to you.

RIGHT? she said you qualify for small business loan but it is free no payback.  you have been investigated and you have been chosen because you are good citizen, no arrest no drink wine or gamble. right?? she asked for my visa, mc,ck acc.  I told her I had none. she asked if I was close to western union.   she gave me her i.d. number GA 425   this is the number I was to call 2096825880.   said now what scam did you say this was and I am getting how much supposed money??????  from the u.s.governmental small business free loan.  7,000$$$$

I just received a2nd call from a 0000000000 saying I was to go to Western Union to pick up $5000 grant but had to pay $179 first. gave me his name Calvin Steve and his ID #  and phone no. To call  202-559-7868 when I got to the western Union of cause I Google the no. He gave me to check it out.  So if you get any calls like that don't fall for it take his or her info and number that can confirm then Google the number or name first Don't be scammed!
