Got a call from 202-568-4994.  Nobody on the line and then a hangup.

Regarding my previous post.  I just noticed that the phone number they called from is a Verizon number.   They must have incoming calls go directly to an answer service that says, "The Cricket number you called is no longer in service..."

It's to late to call today, since they close at 5pm.  But here is alink to Verizon Unlawful Call Center:

I will be calling them tomorrow to report this harassing call, hopefully they can figure out who is abusing their phone numbers..

Caller ID showed up as:  Cell Phone DC

Addressed themselves as Home Solar Pricing.  I acted interested in their product. But avoided answering their questions on what my monthly power bill was and started asking questions of my own.  I asked if they have a website so I can research who I will be giving the info to, because I do want solar panels.  She told me she was a 3rd party Global Call Center calling from Chantilly VA.   then said, "If Iyou answer these questions I can forward your information and transfer the call to the consultant who will be able to answer the questions you in more detail"

after a couple minutes of me avoiding her question and asking my own, as I put it:" so that I can research who I will be giving my information to"  I finally told her.   " I am recording this call, and I have reported your company calling from various numbers to the FTC already a few times, and I will probably be sending this recording to them for further proof of the harassment"  

she said.  oh... thats why you were asking the information...  

GOTCHA!

I called back this number and the recording says.   " The Cricket number you called is no longer in service...."

also, there is a website homesolarpricing.com  it is a standard scam type internet marketing squeeze page that collects your email so they can spam you and call.  here is the address homesolarpricing.com has 500 East Comstock Lane Chandler AZ 85225

I havent found the call center address yet, still looking, but wanted to post this information while it's still fresh in my mind.

I asked her if that was it, since I was at the computer when I took the call.  she said.  "mmm Hmm, but we are a third party call center for them.  If you just let me finish and answer these questions about yout bill, I will transfer you to their rep to set up a FREE appointment.
 


Now I will report this to the FTC via their telemarketing spam complaint form with the details just I got.

7/11 13:13  and again 13:22   I wish I knew who this was.  Second call, some female came on after voicemail message and kept repeating "hello".  When attempted to return call from my voicemail #, got number is no longer in service.

7/10 18:27  Called just now, but didn't answer because reads wireless caller and I don't know anyone in that area code.  No message left.

Rodolf called today. yesterday it was Frank! They keep telling me they will take my name off the list!!!! For 6months now.  They keep calling looking for someone name Jennifer Allen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i told them WRONG NUMBER.... They are not going to get any $$$$$$$$$$$$ from me!.  Everytime!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT THE F#%K!!!!!!!!!!!!! I ask them to give me thier FAX number, They dont even want to answer that question!!!!.  They know if i fax them a notarized letter saying; DO NOT CALL MY NUMBER. Just got a hangup call today at 707 pm.  Caller ID said "wireless caller".  Probably spoofed.  I know nobody in DC

I got a call picked up phone when they heard a voice they hung up

Called today June 20. in the afternoon.Hung up at voice mail. No message. Los Angles.
Probably looking for live people to scam.

Received a call from 202-568-4994, no message was left, came up as wireless caller..... I am not familiar with the area code so I did not pick up the phone

I guess this is the fist time they have called, at this point it may be a legit call but when there is no message left and the name of caller shows up as: V60602273500020 I get suspicious. If anyone else gets info please list. Thanks.
