These guys operate out of India. They use boiler room tactics to scare Americans into paying false debts, or phantom debts. Don't even have any communication with them. If they call just hang up and if they call your work, tell your employer it's a fraud. I would even go as far as warning your employer a head of time that this could happen.  These guys have been spamming my works phones for three days because I refused to pay them what they demanded.

call from 202-568-6927 received a call from a male with broken English (couldn't even make out his name) stating he was with the Department of Justice in WA. *67 ad called the number back and it says leave message after the beep. message says nothing about the Department of Justice in WA. SCAM!!  

Left a voice-mail on my phone stating that is was the Department of Justice, his name was Phil (I think. Did not get the name due to bad background noise) Ramirez, and asked me to call back. I called him back and he put me on hold with the most hideous music playing in the background. I hung up because this smells like a cheap phone scam. Beware of calls like this.

Called left a name stating he was from the Washington DC dept of justice. When I called back phone just rang. All government offices are closed today.

Called a miss call from this number.   He left a message.  Called back and got no answer.

This number called and said he was with the dept of justice, and then he just hung up. I called the number back and reached a guy and stated to him that someone called me from this number and he hung up. Weird.
