I just got the same call! I was told to call the Dallas number!

I got a call from 202-580-8148 someone left a message claiming to be Michael Williams from the Department of Justice and I needed to call them back. Did a search on the number and found other people stating it was a scam. I called the real Dept. of Justice and as soon as I told them I got a call from someone claiming to be from the DOJ they said right away that it's a scam and if they call back to just hang up on them.

I received a call from a man with heavy accent, he said his name is Michael William from Department of Justice in Washington DC, he got a package from US custom mail to my address. He needs my bank account number and credit card number, so that he will give me more info about my package.

I received a call from this number a man with a thick mid eastern accent told me that I have a 2nd place prize from publishers clearing house waiting at customs in N.Y.. I have never entered any sweepstakes. He claimed to be from the F.B.I. please don't fall for this. Call the feds yourself and report it to the scam department

He is telling me the prize in the amount of $ 850,000 is ready to be issued to me at the Kennedy International Airport !!!!

I have been receiving calls from a man (w/accent of someone from Middle East) that calls himself James WHITE.  He told me that I won a large sum of money and all I was required to do is take out "insurance" on my winnings.
When I saw that I was totally reluctant to do so, he then gave me the number of another person (800) 498-4660 and a code to give this person identifying me and my winning amount.  When I called the 800 number, I got a recorded message to leave a name and number, but I could not because the voice mailbox was full.

Mr. White expects me to call him tomorrow.  I wish I had a way to catch him and his team.  No telling how many seniors he has scammed out of their meager savings.

A male with a heavy accent called and said he is Agent James Wright with the FTC. This is a scam call, I have been receiving them for about a year now. I cannot find any state or federal agency that will prosecute these people . . . . .

Received a call from James Wright (w/heavy accent) claiming he is with American Dream Network and that I won $450,000.00.  However, I have to purchase an insurance policy with Prudential, through a Gloria Simmons, in order to have the money delivered to me.  Sounds like a big scam to me. The number for Prudential and Gloria is 800-498-4660.

no not federal trade comission he says his name is andrew lopez and john hoffman they are scam artists they will try to get your money with promises of sweepstakes money FRAUD
