Just received a call from this number.  Actually it was from 202559769.

They are still calling people May 21st 2014

They called me and offered $9000 by WU but I had to first wire them $250 for security purposes. I said why not take the $250 out of the $9000 and only send me $8750. "Click"

they call me saying I was eligible to recive 10.000.THey want me to send them 250.00 found out its all a scam

I recieved the call as well and like a dumb a** send off the freaking money om so pissed off if i find out who this is I'm going to beat the crap out of them

I was called today for the second time. So today I played along~ Gave me a grant approval number & a phone number of 202-580-8480 to call to get my $9,000.0 of tax free money!! Yeah how dumb do they think people are? I do how ever feel sorry for the elderly who are so trusting. I hope someone puts a stop to this so no innocent people get scammed. I bet they are not going to be happy when my call is answered!!

Received a call about 11:00 AM on April 16,2014 from a lady called herself Linda. This lady told me that I have been  selected to receive $ 9,000 as federal grant because of taxes paid up and no criminal history and then gave me a confirmation number SL258. She told me to call her manager through 202-580-8480,tell the confirmation number and get the  money on the same day.When I called the man repeated the same story of what the lady said and added that i can get the money through my credit card, checking or from Western union by paying $ 250 refundable money.

Yea! it is a scam for sure this is the 3rt time they call me. how can they said that is a gov.grant and ask you for money to give you more money no sense on it. but
maybe it is bcos you don't have to pay back     this money as they say.well i guess i need to hired inspector shurlock or gadchet is that their names? got to goggle them. better

Doe NOBODY care to investigate these crooks or shut them down?
The service provider of that phone line must have heard of this by  now...

I received a call on my cell phone and was told to call this number for a government grant. When I called the number all I got was a ringing phone.

I received a call about 1230PM today March 11, 2014 this guy said I was due a $9000.00 refund from the Government and asked me if I had a computer, credit card, checking account, etc. He was going to send me the money by Western Union. I did not give him any information. He gave this number 20-580-8480 to which my Son called  and it was disconnected by Verizon Wireless. Another scam. I will call Verizon to report the number being used as such.

9,000 ..... hate con artists. .... wish there was a way to spam them .... oh yeah download prank dial from Google play and have fun

Just got a call saying was selected for grant because of having taxes paid up and no criminal history. they didn't ask for a name or anything and gave me a call back number plus the code KO234 as confirmation number. The call itself came from 202-559-7639 callback number was 202-580-8480

Received a call from 202-580-8480 Id # KO234 about some grant money the government will give  and that I will never have to pay it back.    The lady did not speak very clear english.  She kept telling me to call right after I hang up with her.  I decided to google that number and found this information.  Thanks for this information, I see that I am not the only one who received a call from this scammers.  

A call from 202-580-8480  with a promise of $9,000 free government grant money that doesn't ever have to be paid back.  My special number is A421.  Received this call at 11:40 this morning.  I would like to help stop these kinds of scams.

They're at it again. I'm in Massachusetts and just got a call that's exactly like the other posts - only they increased the amount of the grant to $9,000. Don't believe a word they say - it's all baloney.

Just got a call from this number 202-559-7639 that said I had been chosen to receive 9000.00 in grant money based on info they recieved from a recent survey in my area,,,,,I am the lucky person chosen.  I can use the $$ anyway I want.  She wanted my name, and I said well if you choose me - you should know my name!!!  She went on to explain I could call her manager who is in the Washington DC office and gave me the above number to call (202-580-8480) along with my grant number to verify that I am the one selected.  BUT I MUST VERIFY WITHIN 5 minutes or I lose the grant -
I will be UN-SELECTED an someone else will be SELECTED!!  Dang it!!!

I called and told these people it was a scam and they hung up almost immediately.

I got a call from some lady sound like she is from India that shows up on the caller ID as unknown, telling me the government is giving me 10,000 dollars in grant because I have no criminal records and then gave me a confirmation number ko234 and tell me to call 202-580-8480, I did a google search and came to this  page. Thank you all for the help.

Just got called too. It always makes me suspicious when I can hear hundreds of people talking in the background. Google comes to the rescue again.

I just got a similar call a woman,who sounded like she was from India called and said I was randomly picked by the government for a $7000 1 time grant money from the government and she gave me an approval code and told me to contact a Janet Morris at (202)657-5308 I called and she said that they would go through western union after I wired them a security deposit Janet also sounded like she was from India

It has started in Kansas phone number 2026210436 foreign by the name of Matthew Rozer.

I got the same call for at least two days now i finally got the chance to answer the phone because i thought it was a recruiter calling for a job.The man had a foreign accent telling me that i had been chosen to receive 7000.00 dollars in grant money from the goverment so i started to ask him questions like why did they choose me and he stated that i was chosen because i havent been in bankruptcy and because i didnt have any overdraft fees so i asked him was this a scam he said no and he just cut me off when i asked him about the grant money so then he asked me for my bank account number i told him that i didnt have it i told him to mail it or send it on a card then he was like your name is @@@@@@@@@@@@ %%%%%%%&&&&&7 and im like how the hell did he know my whole name and he had my zip code so then he gave me his manager number and my number for my grant money then the stupid fool tried to get some info and said if the line be busy keep calling so i hung up in his face and i called the number he gave me which was 202-470-3455 the district of columbia which popped up on the caller id so the lady answered and asked me the purpose of my call i told her i was giving this number to call you so i asked her for her name and she hung up on me stupid lady these people are bad spirited people nothing is free in this world but it did PISS me off cause they wasted my dang gone time with the BS you people out there beware of this and THESE  PEOPLE

this Dude said that i was selected  and he provide me with my name and everything... imwas like are yu kidding me, he said no. give me your account number so we can deposit the money.. Retarded people.. and gave me a confirmation number MR754

I forgot to mention that I received this phone call on June 4, 2012.  After, they tried to attempt to reach me several times.

I too received a message from this number asking me to call this number back with the code number   that Mr. Ryan Hudson gave me.  He was trying to sound convincing, that it was a government grant which was being isssued to selected people.  I really didn't believe it.  Because scams come in many forms.  So, I took the liberty to call the 202-580-8480.  And there was no answer.  So, people Do Not Believe Everything You Hear.  Do your research!  Everything that sounds good isn't.



You should report fraud.  Be very careful!
