Someone just called me with the same number

ich weiss nicht wer es war aber ich kenne auch keinen mit dieser nummer

Got a call from this number , i was at school so didn't answer....have no idea who it is!

This person called a low voice immediately saying "I want your children" I said what? And then he repeated "I want your children". I asked who it was and they said mark and then I asked again and they said "tony" and I just hung up. Then 5 seconds later, they called my mother's cellphone! I don't know how they did that.

I'm from Malaysia, and I got like 7 bloody phone calls from this number.
No idea how they got my number, but what I know, I'm really really troubled by it.
Hopefully its a spam call.

received call at 10:00pm didn't know number so didn't answer, no message

the number called me my mom and my dad. when it called me it left a message saying "call back whenever u want or txt me" and on my mom's phone it said "hey mom i needed to talk to u so call me back"it sounded like a girl

called 3 times durring dinner and said nothing.. Freak caller... Dont answer.... It could be alien.

Called and would not talk heard breathing then some foreign language(i think) in the background then nothing so i so i said wrong number!. Then hung up!. it's a Washington number but i think it's from another country. Please somebody get this person caught!

How often can a debt collector call me?

That depends.  Under the FDCPA, a debt collector may not call any person repeatedly or continuously with the intent to annoy, abuse, or harass them.  In practice, though, it can be difficult to determine whether and when a debt collector has crossed this line.  According to the Federal Trade Commission, a debt collector may almost certainly call you more than once, but six calls per day is probably too many.  Between these extremes, it depends on the facts of your particular case.

   Using obscene or profane language

False and/or Misleading Statements violate the FDCPA:

   Misrepresenting the character, amount, or legal status of the debt
   Making empty threats to scare you
   Pretending to work for a credit reporting agency
   Pretending to work for a government agency
   Falsely claiming to be an attorney or to work with attorneys
   Sending you fake legal papers to confuse you, or telling you to ignore real legal papers.

Abusive and/or Unfair Practices violate the FDCPA:

   Calling you or any other person repeatedly with intent to annoy, harass, or abuse you, or any person at that number
   Calling you after you have sent a cease letter.
   Calling or contacting you without disclosing that they are debt collectors trying to collect a debt
   Collecting interest, fees, collection expenses, or other charges that are not authorized by your original payment agreement
   Soliciting postdated checks with the intent to threaten to expose you to criminal charges, or soliciting postdated checks and then threatening to deposit them early.
   Contacting you by postcard, or contacting you in any way that would disclose to a third party that they are debt collectors.

This number just called me in Toronto at 4:45am EST.  Nobody was saying anything at the other end and it sounded like I was on speakerphone.  Caller id said 'WiCall'

I received 2 calls from Paola Belletti, Milano, Italy, from this number; because the numbers she has used previously have been reported, she keeps calling from new ones.

This was a call from Paola Belletti in Italy using this number (I answered and she identified herself because I didn't recognize the number).  I reported her hourly calls over the last two days from 393-475-507-422 to have her number blocked so she is now using this number  She has now called 8 times from the Italy number since 5:45pm MDT on July 20, 2012, and twice from the 202-585-2868 number today, July 21, 2012, and left 8 threatening voicemails.

Called 6 times back to back non-stop. Didn't answer but will block from now on.

Someone just said good afternoon and there was no more voice after that just heavy breathing and it was an international call as i dont live in the states. It kinda freaked me out as to why would someone call  from the states without any reason

I have a feeling these people along with others have gotten numbers from craigslist job ads I've replied to,they post fake ads to scam people out of emails and numbers so they bug and harass..watch out.

Just blocked my number and called it-novel idea. It's from a company called tribair. VOIP sevices for android phones. Based in lndia--SURPRISE!! But yeah, basically telemarketer crapola. Shot down my own terrorist theory. Hope l helped solve this mystery. Peace......

I just started getting calls from this number tonight. Did sound like some foreigner.And you're right I couldn't understand him. So, me being me I called him a f***in terrorist, informed him he was calling "Ahmedica" and go bug someone else. If it keeps up I'll just program my phone to reject it.

I got like 10 calls back to back at 1 in the morning. First it was a guy then it sounded like a girl talking in a diff language. Who ever is doing it realy needs to grow up! Find something better to do with your time then wake adults up that have to go to work shortly!

Jerk keeps calling from this number and say's absolutely nothing. Is annoying.

Got a call from this number at 1am on a Thursday! Came up
as Washington DC USA. I'm in northern Alberta Canada. Why the hell are you calling me in the middle of the night? Didn't answer so no idea who it was.

I got several calls from this number @ 1 am in night and no one would speak, its very annoying... real stupid stuff...

THIS NUMBER CALLED ME MULTIPLE TIMES AND I DID NOT ANSWER. SAYS ITS FROM D.C. I DON'T KNOW THIS PERSON.

This number called eight times in three hours and they hang up when answered.
