5 praise posts in 20 minutes.  I don't think that's a coincidence.  As an IT professional, never allow a person on your computer unless you know them and have asked them to do so.  You should always be the initiator.  Never give out your password either, even to people you do know.  If need be, set up a temporary password for them to use under your supervision then change it immediately.  Once someone is in your computer they can install viruses or malware that will act immediately or after a delay of days or months.  It could run in the background stealing your info and send it to them without you ever knowing it's there.  It won't necessarily slow down your computer even.  BEWARE!!!

The support rendered was outstanding! The Technical Support Technician  was professional, extremely  helpful l and impressively knowledgeable. Finally, I felt his kind nature. I felt as though  he, truly, wanted to help me solve/  my ?frustrating? issue?

I am VERY tired of answering the phone and it being scams.  From now on I will check my caller ID and if I don't recognize the number, I will not answer.  202-600-4629 and other 202 area code numbers keep calling and hanging up, or trying to get personal information, or access to my computer.  Enough already.  My phone is for MY use.  

After reading all this I'm glad my stupid phone wouldn't let me answer it. But I usually get a blocked call an Indian sounding girl telling me that I am entitled to a grant but doesn't have to be paid back. She asked for my bank information I ask her if she thinks I'm stupid. She says no so I ask her if she wants to go to jail. I tell her that her call is fraud. She tells me that it is not fraud repeatedly and then hangs up.

Update, so T-mobile says it's going to cost me $5 a month extra to have the call blocked, nice customer service eh?

I just got a call from this number and are trying to get it blocked

Called my cell phone and left no message; ID says District of Columbia :-/  

I got a call from this number and the person said they were with Windows and there are reports that were sent saying there are viruses on my computer.  I told him that I have virus software and run scans frequently.  He said they are deeply embeded and the scan will not see them.  He wanted to show me where the report are, I said no thanks and hung up.

"Jennifer" with an Indian accent claimed to be from Microsoft Windows, my computer has a very bad virus, and she is going to tell me how to fix it.   I am aware of this scam, the caller takes control of your computer and hacks all of  your information.  I told her I know this scam, and do not call again.

Being getting calls from this # with no message,,have to be a way to arrest the callers,,,

called on my cell to tell me he was a "microsoft technician" and there was a problem with my computer. Hung up on him. Not the first time I've been hit with this scam. Beware

I got a call from this number claiming they were from Microsoft and they found that my computer is running slow and they need to fix it. First of all I could not fully understand him because of the accent. This is a scam, they are trying to sell you Tuneup 360... gee it will only cost you almost 300 dollars for 5 years of being able to use it, you will never own the program... What crap.

This person calls daily !!

Got a call from an Indian man. He claimed he is "with technical support for my windows computer and how are you doing today?"
I told him not to good after waking me up. He didnt care of course.
He then wanted to help with my computer. I told him I don't have a computer. His response was "Sir, You don't have a windows computer???" I told him to go to hell. He then wanted to verify my phone number. I unleased a verbal tirade on him imagining he as all the people I can't stand. I felt great. He hung up. My $6,000 computer I built will now call their phone network non-stop till they change their numbers. I can't wait.

A man with a strong Indian accent called saying he was from Windows Technical Support and wanted me to check something on my computer because it was sending out a message each time I got on the internet. I asked him who he was trying to call and how he got the number but I couldn't understand what he said in reply. He then asked if I had a computer that uses Windows and that I need to do something(couldn't hear/understand). There was alot of background noise so I could barely understand him, but I told him I didn't use a window's based computer and he politely ended the call.  I knew this wasn't actually Windows so I wasn't about to actually try to listen to what he had to say.  I also received a call from the same people a week or so ago from a blocked number.  I pretended to be several different people, said that my keyboard didn't have the windows key, and then told them my mom said i had to get off the phone. lol. If only they would quit calling me....

An indian guy just called me from this number saying he's from microsoft office regarding a virus code that was reported to them by my computer... BULL SHIP!

This was an identity-theft phishing call.  The caller (with a heavy Indian accent) said he was from "Windows Technical Support," and tried to get me to alter the security settings on my computer to allow him free access to all my data.  

I get calls from 2026004629 and 2025039953 saying that it is from IRS tax crime division. It is some heavily accented voice and does not give me any case number or anything. Very annoying

I keep getting these phone calls and one of them is claiming he is from the IRS. And they want to take legal action against me. And another phone call is they ate from the dea and have collected a package that was being delivered to my house.

He called me twice to and he repeted to same thing. It's a spam call.
