This call comes in and the caller hangs up right after I greet the caller, as though he/she is screening who answers the call.

Called twice today from this number - nobody there.

Call came from the District of Columbia to Kansas at 20:25 hours CST (illegal) on 3-3-09. Call not answered and no message left. This is on of the many numbers in the phone bank of MADD.

Recieved calls on 12/18/07(3x!), 12/20/07, 12/30/07 and 1/8/08.

My caller ID said this number came from MADD.

Received call three times in past month or so.  Finally caught it tonight at 7:56 p.m. 3/12/08.  No answer, and no sound on the other line after greeting.  Though the number was odd because we are in a 208 location and this is a 202 number.  Looked up information on the number and found this site and discovered that 202 is a DC location.  Suspect pranker with too much time and not enough imagination on their hands.  Not worth bothering over.  Just hang up every time.

They just call and never leave a message

recd a call from 202-607-2730 no msg left- believe it to be from Mother Against Drunk Driving

Repeated nuisance calls from this or any other number should be reported promptly to the FCC at http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/complaints.html.  The process is easy and seems to be fairly effective.  Be sure to provide ALL the information requested on the forms, or your complaint will be ignored.

Finally, I was able to pick up this call after they have been calling for 4 days 2 times a day.  The woman identified herself as someone representing the Special Olympics.  I was very angry and blasted her lack of integrity, and told her I would report this SCAM

Recieved a phone for the past three days around 7:00 to 8:00pm

I finally answered the call on 3/21 and they didn't say anything and it sounded like there was not a live person on the other end.  Perhaps it is a voice activated sensor that dispatches an operator when a live person answers.  I read another posting that stated it is the DC Fraternal order of Police, hence the DCFOP on caller ID, and that they are soliciting contributions.

I answered this call, because they called a business line, and the caller hangs up after I end my greeting...as though they don't want to talk to a live person, or they screening who answers the call! Don't waste my time!

After receiving multiple calls from this number, I decided to wait for an operator to find out who owned the number.  The company claimed to be an Auto Warranty firm for people with expiring car warranties.  I've never heard of such things so I asked for their information and they hung up on me.  I think this is a fraudulent company attempted to scare people into buying unnecessary warranties and getting credit card numbers.  I don't know how to report this but I continue to get calls from this number.

Receive calls from this number 202 607-2730 daily at least two times a day. We never answer because the caller ID just says Washington DC. Not sure what this could be but we are not having any financial issues so should not be collector unless wrong number.

Called at dinner time. Did not leave message.
