Calls and never leaves a msg

Call came from Washington, D.C. to Kansas at 09:15 CDT on 10-29-10. Call not answered and no messae left. Caller ID says American Lung Association but other sites advise West Asset Management.

This number appeared on my Caller ID with the name West Asset Management.  They didn't leave a message.

Call from 202-607-2875, ID= West Asset Management. No message. Big nuisance.

202-607-2875 listed as Unknown Caller has called twice today, and twice yesterday, leaving no message.

Called at about 10 AM today.  No one there when picked up.  Called ID said West Asset Management.

Called about 9:15am EST, when i picked up, there was no response. Caller ID leaves no ID.Has called before about a week ago.

The inconsistency strongly suggests there is a scam operation going on behind the scenes.  Or it could just be the outbound number of a bulk dialing discount VOIP provider.

Do you know this to be the case having seen phone company accounting records, or are you just repeating what the very likely forged caller ID info claims?

These people are relentless!  I have called more than once so as not to get further calls, yet something is wrong with their system and mis-reads the phone number you key in over and over again.  I want the calls to stop!  They don't leave messages, so what they are calling about is clearly a donation.  Irritating!

This number has called almost daily.  I answered today at 8:45 AM.  Upon answering the call, they identify themselves as the American Lung Association of PA although the caller ID shows West Asset Mgt.  They are looking for you to volunteer to mail preprinted postcards to your neighbors.  You pay for the postage to mail them.

My first call of the day.  Since I am on the DO NOT CALL list, even tho it said AmerLungAssoc, I didn't answer.  No message left.

Strange to see that the postings show this number to be totally different from what my caller ID shows - which says AmLung Assn.

Says West Asset Mgt - did not answer and no message.

Called at 9:57am, 22Sep2010. Answered but nobody there.
