They say they are an "Officer" calling from "The Washington Field Office,  Department of Justice of the United States".  All bogus!  I made them tell me if if was a government agency or not.  They said "no"... "it is a legal law firm".  Their client was PayDay Loans.  They're trying to sound like a government agency.  On this website (at bottom of this page) it looks like they are really calling from Cairo, Egypt.

I received the same phone calls and he identifies himslf as Officer Ramadan Pierce.I reported him to the FTC. He has a variety of phone numbers he uses and ask him what is his federal code or if he has a 800 number, his response was: "What is a 800 number"!! They are usually from poor countries, always begging, GET A JOB!!

I received a call from this number, the person claimed to be a police officer with the Washington State Police and he was investigating a crime ? I asked for a badge number and give me some numbers.  After giving me his badge number he request to talk to the person he was calling for.  I asked for a dispatch number for his office and he got verbally abusive.  He then told me that he would be at my address in one hour and I would regret hindering his investigation.  I hung up on him and a few minutes later he called back and asked for my address again.  I told him that if he was a police officer he should have no problem using the phone number to tract me down and feel free to knock on my door and I hung up again.   This persons temperament and people skills make me question his story about being a policemen.  I check the his story out and found that Washington DC doesn?t have a State Police and when I called the Metropolitan Police Department, the desk sergeant didn?t know of any agency using that sequence of numbers as badge number.
Impersonating a police officer is a crime.
I decided to file a complaint with the Metropolitan Police Departments  financial crimes and fraud unit.  Their phone number is 202-727-4159.  If you feel that you need this departments help, you have the information to take action.
In conclusion this post is in response to previous posts, I have read what other have written and rather then bashing this company, give people information to resolve their issues.  If this company is a scam they need to be stopped or if they are a collection agency, they are braking several laws, First claiming civil laws can bring criminal actions is false, claiming to be a police officer is flat out a crime and finally braking almost all the Fair Debit Act laws leaves them financially liable to criminal and civil actions.

You say you aren't scammers? Well let us first examine your response to Mr. Tony.

1. You captiolize on the use of improper grammar. This makes you appear lackadaisical and unnofical, almost reeking of 'scam'.

2. Your name is...John? Are you sure it isn't Jack Austin? 'wait and watch' were the exact same words used when I made accused Jack Austin and your affiliation of scamming over the phone.

3. You 'transfer' calls in an odd way, and it is answered swiftly. Almost as if someone pressed a few buttons and deepened their voice.

4. You threaten and make overexagerated and intimidating comments that affect our emotional and possibly fiscal well-being. And you lie when speaking to others. You lie on a phone line that you say is being monitored and recorded by how many attorney's and such? Yes, because that many would definitely be required for every single phone call a 'debt collector' would make.

5. The way you treated the daughter of one's post is not only horrendous but I am sure if the individual pursued it, you would face serious consequences.

You scammers should really give up.

I would just like to submit further evidence to support the accusations of scamming.'jack austin' the guy who threatened me, had said that the phone call was being monitored by six attorney's and a state attorney general. He threatened to have me behind bars by Friday morning. It is now 10:52 am, Friday the eighteenth of February. I have not received a single phone call or other indication of an 'arrest' for myself. Now, if I am still here this morning to send this message...and am not in fact in jail..well then that man lied on a monitored line, yes? These guys are scammers to the max, and I would suggest blocking their phone number. I have not, in order to make the evidence I present fair and unerring, but will be doing so after today. If problems still persist, file a complaint with your local law enforcement.

I keep getting calls from these people and if I am not mistaken I did pay them at one time because they said I would go to jail. They just called about four times and my daughter answered the phone and they told her they were an officer of some kind and that if I didnt call them back I would go to jail. Are you sure it is a scam? Who are these people and what gives them the right to say things like that especially to a child! Thanks for ur responses if I hadnt looked up the number I would have paid them again afraid of going to jail.

Just got called by them again! I told him that he was a scammer and he got offended and threatened to 'personally see that I was penalized 8000-9000 dollars and put behind bars by friday morning. It seems they approach everyone like this. Words of wisdom; don't let them think you are afraid. Pay attention, it sounds phony from the start.
