I would be more than happy if someone were to Lodge a class action against these folks for harassment.  I am still receiving mailings from this organization as well as every NRC candidate in the country who wants money!

I called again this afternoon to speak with Laura who forwarded me to Meg in the back office.  Laura said she found me in their system and would flag me for delete.  Meg stated that she could not find me in their system but that she would send an email to their publisher to ensure that I do not get any mailings for any reason from them.

I explained my frustrations and the frustrations of everyone I have found who have had this same problem and posted their frustrations on the internet.  I have also explained the frustrations of many of my friends who have had the same experience with this organization.

Some how some day soon this must stop!

OK.  It has been several months since I originally posted this.  I have had to call this number several times since then to request that I be removed again.  I spoke with a young woman named Julie this morning who assures me that I will be removed from all of their lists although it may take up to four weeks to complete this action.  We will see what happens...

Daily, often twice. Any organization that bothers me this much would never get a dime from me!

Started getting occassional calls from this number last month. They ring a few times and hang up. Never long enough for the machine to pick up.  We do NOT answer calls from unknown callers. We have caller ID for several reasons, I guess this is one of those reasons.

Calls constantly.  Extremely annoying.  Whoever they are, I wouldn't give them money purely based on how annoying they are.

We maintain hosted call managers for many business clients and we are constantly getting requests to flat out block this number. There is a loophole in the National Do Not Call directory that exempts political organizations from the DNC restrictions.

WTF?! stop calling me! no you can't have my money. I want my sleep. I have to leave my phones on for work in case of a call-in because of BUDGET CUTS!!!!!! Thankx a lot for waking me up 3 times in the last 2 days, it's really helpful for a guy trying to sleep after a long night's work.

I hate these automated computer dialers. You pick up the phone and NO ANSWER. Course, then you wait and wait and eventually someone picks up and asks your butt for money. ARG!! STOP CALLING!! I'm a republican and it's enough to make me go independent party or something. Seriously, get real. I'm not giving anyone money. Quit calling 50 times a day!!

They are a fundrasing organization calling on behalf of charities and/or political organizations.  Call number back, dail 0 to have your number removed from call list.

This is apparently the National Republican Senatorial Committee.  I donated some money to the Republican National Congressional Committee a few years ago and now I'm apparently on every Republican fundraising list in the country.  Very annoying.  These organizations think I have inexhaustible funds which I don't and if I did I wouldn't give it all to them.  I've stopped answering the phone for any number outside of my area code that I don't recognize.

Got this call a few times now but no message was left on the machine. I was expecting a call from the DC area and was fooled.

I called and complained - actually, I freaked out on their answering machine and told them what my number was, that they were abusing the phone system, and that they WILL never call again - period.
202-675-6000 is the number for the National Republican Senatorial Committee. That's the Washington DC number. I suggest everyone else do the same thing. This is crap. This is what the do-not-call list should be all about - no more exceptions to the rules. No unwanted calls anymore - end of story.

Well if they are the National Republican Committee they are asking me to call people to get them to vote for Obama. But it IS a political organization trying to get people to man the phones on specific dates to call people to get them to register to vote.

This is the first number I have found which will actually get you to a real person.  They were very nice and took me off of their mailing list immediately.  I have suggested that they provide this number and/or some form on their website to allow others to unsubscribe to their harassment as well.  For now, the young woman with whom I spoke suggested just broadcasting this number to anyone who wants to be removed from their mailing lists.  She will be happy to assist.

just received a call from this number.  he said he was ron johnson (wis senator).  i would think that senator johnson has enough to do without cold-calling.

Political calls aren't covered by no-call legislation...

I called the NRSC number and left a message, we will see how it goes.  I use to contribute to the NRSC and have asked them to stop calling.  It is to the point that they have driven me from ever contributing again......  I have even began to question my loyalty to the party (who would contribute to a party / cause and be harassed continually for doing something it by repeated calls (morning, noon and night).

Oh well, I guess some organizations never learn.

Calling my cell phone two to three times a day. Reported this to the Do Not Call registry and they have done nothing. Has to be politically motivated as they do not answer to gov. registry! Shame our country has come to this. I think this is a travisty. I'll be glad when the political ads stop AS WELL AS THE BOTHERSOME PHONE CALLS.
Political calling should be done in a respectable manner. I have an aunt who is receiving four to six calls a day. Everytime she had to get up out of her chair, or bed to answer the phone, it's 99.9% chance of her falling. She's 85 years young.  These people do not care who they bother or hurt in the process!

It's the Republicans calling for money.  They call every day.  Vote Obama '08!!!

Got another call today.  Asked caller for his name, he said Dewey Hawthorn and then made some crinkling noise into the phone so I couldn't understand the company name.  I said, one moment sir and I'll transfer you.  I transferred him to our fax machine.

Did it ever occur to anyone that maybe some are doing this, from the "other party", to make people mad and think " I surely wouldn't vote for that party if that's the way they are going to treat people  ",
Some are very devious and I wouldn't be surprised at anything nowadays !!!!
