I got this call, talked to him for about ten minutes, when i was tired of saying "can you say that again?" because I couldn't understand his accent, I hung up. Then he called me twice within five minutes. I have been getting other calls from people I can't understand about furthering my education... I am a sophomore in college. I guess since it is the end of fall semester, I have recieved at least two calls a day from random numbers for the past 5-6 weeks or so. If i don't know the number, I let it go to voicemail. If it is something important.. they will leave a message

I get alot of calls from this number,and when I told the guy calling I wasn't interested in what he was selling,he answered with Mam I'm not selling anything this is a goverment call.I've never been called by the goverment for anything and I've never been in trouble with the goverment,so I don't know why this person keeps calling me.

They have called me several times while im at work and not able to reach my phone. I have voicemail that will read out as a voicemail and i have got several that say hey honey call me back,sorry i missed your call...ect... when i answer they hang up.Its very annoying!!

If you ever request info online from a for-profit school or use a free resume building site, don't ever put your cell number down. If you've received a rash of numbers like this one, its because you submitted your number knowingly(without reading the fine print) to online companies that pay for the bulk of their revenue by selling your number to every unscrupulous for-profit online college scam out there. I got tired of the bot dialers wasting my minutes with blank voice mails, so I answer them every time and either put the phone back in my pocket or next to a car speaker blaring music. If you pick up, it gets transferred to a live scam operator.  If they are going to waste my minutes regardless, mine as well waste their employees scamming time as well.

Tired of receiving calls from that number! College Advisor said do not take the calls are a PRANK!!!

After numerous times of not answering, I finally broke down and answered; the person was apparently overseas, or spoke English as a second or third language; It was something about a government grant (?), and I told him in clear English that I was not interested and NOT to call again...further calls from that # will be reported to the FTC...as will several others. Today is not a good day to bother me with this type of stuff!!!

This phone number just called me not even 2 minutes ago. I hung up the phone but first got some information about them.

I was told this call was because I applied for a part time job assignment.  
This is from some sort of educational program.
My number is on a no call list.  Several times I have requested to cease calls.  
I am know in the process of reporting this number to Government No call registery.

i also got a call from this no., they call and didn't say nothing ,so that good at this point !but now i know what this is it a spam.

So some idiot who speaks english better than my one year old calls me from Washington (he says) and says that the government has approved me for a free, tax free, one time grant of $7,800.00 (that I never have to pay back) for staying out of trouble and paying my taxes. ("sniff sniff") yea, I smell bull***t! He then procedes to say that he can deposit the money in my account or load it on my card. He then says that when it's all said and done that he will provide me with a number to . . . umm . . . the US treasurey office . . . or something like that. So I'm thinkin "if this guy gets my credit information, he's gunna give me some fake number to call and laugh while he's robbing me." So I ask him "what's this number?" cuz I'm sitting at the computer and I'm gunna Google this number while he's lieing to me. As soon as I type Google.com and press Enter, he hangs up on me.

This number called me an tried getting me to send them 280 dollars to get 7800 dollars in return through a grant these people are super scam stars just super. Bad at what they do lol probably collectin for a terrorist organization they weren't from Washington like they claim that's for sure

After repeated request to be removed from a calling list.  I continue to recieve calls from 202-657-7861. They either do not answer when I answer or try to convince me that I have won something.  I know it is a scam and would like the harassing calls stopped immediately.

I have noticed that I am recieving a number of annoying calls about grants and other things from numbers that should not have my cell number though I have registered it on the do not call list. This seems to follow on the heels of the political calls I received prior to the recent election.

I just asked him "Do you think I'am Stupid???"

I have asked them to stop calling that I know this is a scam and they still call everyday.

I have been called by this number several times a day for the past couple weeks.  After answering today, I was yelled at by a man who I could barely understand, then he demanded I give him reasons to why i requested to be off the list.  Please stop this, its borderline harassment.

I am ridiculously tired of being spammed by this and similar numbers. This number reports as a Verizon number that has been disconnected...and I just received the call. Can you say...Federal investigation?
