STOP CALLING

I was getting calls from this number multiple times a day. I finally went to my cell provider and blocked the number. I was good for a couple days then I got called multiple times this Saturday from another line they have that's 202-666-0851. So watch out for this number too. I updated resumes and I got calls from Florida and Texas schools and I blocked those numbers and never had a problem with them since. I think it's crazy how I block one of their numbers and now they try calling me on another one. I blocked that one too so let's see what happens. I will tell them that after two times I block them and they still call me I'm going to report them to the police. The government does not just call you up.

I received this same call but offered $9,000. When they called she said I had to put up a $210 security deposit. She also said that I had 3 ways to send and receive the money western union, bank account, or a control card. She said if I want to get the money from Western Union I would have to call before I went So she could talk me through everything but she made it highly important that I DID NOT MENTION THAT IT WAS FEDERAL GRANT MONEY. She gave me a name Haylee Wilson but she did sound foreign and swore up and down that it was real smh. Glad I didn't fall for it. Then the next day I actually saw and heard a stranger sending off the money and I tried to warn her but she didn't listen even though she was having problems!

I am so glad that I did not do this I was thinking there for a minute that it was not a scam. Because there are a lot of grants out there for people. But as soon as they told me that I needed to call this lady back to verify my money it was really wearied because she ask me for my infor like my name and my grant money number. Then she said let me put u on hold so I can look up ur account. So I waited for about like 10-15 minutes on hold with dead slients there was nothing on the other end. Then she came back on the phone and told me that I needed to go and get a green dot money thing from 7-11 or walmart and I needed to call them back with the number and then they would be able to send me my grant in the amount of $8,400.00 in 45 minutes. But the wearied thing about it is that they never ask for a bank account or social #. I told them I don't have a bank account all I have is a prepaid debit card and there is nothing on it. So I am not to worried about them trying to use that card it dose not access any info. I hope that they get what is coming to them for more at less f******people over and even people that really don't have much. I hope people out there will spread the word out there and let people know. I have got like 3-4 phone calls from them 202-666-5009 and 202-666-0837

I received this phone call today. It said District of Columbia on caller ID. I did not answer the phone as I do not know anyone from the District of Columbia. However I wrote the phone number down of 202-666-0837 and researched it to find that it is a scam. I have placed a warning note by my phone for nobody in the house to answer this phone call because it is a Scam. I will say that my message machine picked up and they did not leave message. Getting to where you cannot trust anyone these days. Just glad I did not answer, did not give them the change to Scam me and had sense enough to use the good ole' internet to search this number out.

Be aware of those gangsters, they've been trying to reach me all last four days and i answered their call this morning and the told me the same story, US government, treasure, 8400 dollars, bla bla bla, ans asked me for my bank account or any credit card but i asked the guy who barely speak english about sending me a paper check instead, he said no we don't do that and when i asked him to give me a phone number to check with later ,he hanged up. be careful of those thieves.

I received 2 calls today from 202-666-0837, a person saying I have been selected for $8000/= grant. He asked me bank a/c and address etc.

They call my house but if I don't recognize the call I wait for the caller id to see if they leave a message they never do.

a guy called me to tell me I received grant of $8500 from government for surgery. Obvious scam. He hang up when I was trying to pursue more information.

The person who called from that # said she was calling from the US government..I could not understand the rest of what she was saying because of her accent. So she just hung up. I tried calling the # back and it gives you that sound you hear when A phone is disconnected. Then it said all circuits are busy. I knew right off it was a scam.

Unfortunately, I did. Now, I am out of $245. I was told something different. I was told that I would get 8,400 for grant money.

Supposedly the government select a random group of people that don't have any debt problems, haven't been bankrupt, or even paid off their taxes on time, I'm flattered lol. So the lady that was speaking to me didn't state her name but was quick to say that they're the "U.S. Government" and was saying a whole bunch of non sense. I couldn't understand a got damn word she was saying and why the hell the "Government" calling me on a early Saturday morning when most officially Government or City Buildings are closed on the weekends?? So that's where they f****d up at and the fact that I don't understand a got damn word that's coming out of her mouth. These moth******ers barely let me speak so that's another reason why I think they full of s***. I try asking them for their mailing address and they change the subject real quick talking about they can't provide that. So I tried asking them for their website and who the hell I'm talking to but they didn't respond to that. The lady sound like she was reading that s*** from a script and she sound like she could be either Asian or some type of Middle Eastern but that's not the point! WHY ARE YOU CALLING ME ON A CELL PHONE ON THE WEEKEND WHEN MOST GOV'T BUILDINGS AND CITY BUILDINGS ARE CLOSED??? AND ON TOP OF THAT WHY CAN'T I SPEAK TO SOMEONE ELSE I CAN UNDERSTAND. I DON'T UNDERSTAND THE WORDS THAT'S COMING OUT YOUR MOUTH. I UNDERSTAND YOUR FULL OF S*** AND YOU JUST WANT TO TAKE SOMEONE MONEY AND F*** UP THEIR CREDIT..A***OLES!!!! BUT I'M NOT FALLINGN FOR YOUR S***!! Like you really have to convince me that your legit and you have proof that your company is real because I will do my research of any company and any unrecognized number that I'm not familiar with or at least the area code. There area code legit but their full of s*** I was adding up to much b***s*** they was saying like the fact that it takes only 45 minutes to process everything and they only either need my card number or my bank account like...F*** OUT OF HERE!!! You think I'm stupid I didn't want to be rude so I let her continue telling me all of this b***s***. I could of easily said F*** OFF! but I let her continue. I simply said "no I'm not interested" and immediately she hung out without trying to persuade to fall for her scam. F****ng funny because these moth******ers calling me to tell me I qualified to receive a grant...WHAT THE F***!??

Exactly the same situation . Sadly people don't question right from the start.

This number called me today at 5:55pm stating they were with the US Department of treasure and that I have qualified for a grant. I asked "with who?' The female that was on the other line spoke very little English. I made her repeat herself several times stating that I could not understand her. She finally hung up.

This is such a scam!!

Just called claiming to FBI and there is a warrant. Hung up.

A man called me from this number 202-666-0837, couldn't quite make out his ethnic background from his accent but seemed east Asian.  There was also a lot of commotion in the background like a call center, I could here maybe ten other voices in the background.   He didn't ask for account numbers or anything, just stated my phone number and address,  and said there is a check in the mail for $8500 from the Government and he will call me on Monday to verify.  I told him I'm not interested and he insisted the check is on the way.  I told him whatever and hung up.  

I got acall from some lady who spoke in a indian accent,she wanted my debit card #.I asked her why did sheneed my debit
card #and she said it was government policy. I then hung up.

I have was called multiple times by this number and when I called back it said that all lines where busy. When they called back I answered them and was told the government has selected me for $8,500.00 to use however I wanted. They wanted my bank account numbers so they could deposit the money within 45 minutes. I asked them for a web site or some other proof that this was legit. The lady that could barely speak English that I was on the phone with hung up immediately. When has the U.S. government ever given that kind of money to random people. I am pretty sure we have a huge debt in our country right now. Please don't fall for this it is a scam too good to be true money from heaven.

This man would not even give me his name. I knew it was a scam. Talking about I have been chosen to receive money from the  government he needed my credit card number to transfer the money in 25 mins and I will be able o speak to their accountant after I give him my card number I said let me speak to the accountant now so i can get more information he said no only after I give him the card number. I told him no thanks and he hung up. I"m so tired of them call my phone!!!!

yeah this moron called me, told him to send me a check to the state police headquarters in Oklahoma. He hung up.

yes when they called me i really couldnt understand him either, he said that the gov was giving free money i said y he giving me money he said that my name hasnt been in any trouble for legal stuff i saido really he keep saying do u want to get ur money today i said what i got to do to get this m,oney he said give us ur credit card number so the tres can put it on there i said i dnt have no card and boom a click...... how they get ur name and num they need to catch these people and trow away the key get a job trying to get easy money get u messed up dumb fool i knew it was a scam right away cas i remember when my cuzin got the same call they wanted her to send them 250.00 y if i won millions of $ take it out the money i won these overseas people think american peoples or slow we on top of things, they get older people all the time but they need to turn this number off or call verison and get the name of the person who been lazy and wont get a real job

they wanted my checking account number info

I received a call also.  I hung up especially when they asked for my checking account number.  

They called us and wanted our bank info. They had free money $8,000 to give us. Of coarse we told them no and they hung up.

They called me as well. They wanted my checking account number so they can deposit the money in it. I screamed at the caller and asked him to remove my name and number from his database.  I hope no one falls for this scam.
