This number calls me at least 5 times a day and were saying vulgar things over the phone. They also knew my name so i don't know exactly how they have gotten my cell phone number. My boyfriend and I mentioned to them that they are scammers and only want to take our money, thats when they got mad and hung up.

Same as the others...scammers trying to get CC or Bank info from people with the story of 8400 federal grant money.  I told them I was recording and reporting the call to the FBI, they hung up on me.

Called and said they were gonna give 8000 dollars wanted my card info ..I don't think so .

Got the call from this number and the guy said he was with Dept of Treasury. I asked him his batch number and he started getting upset so I told him he was full of s.... and he hung up. They had call my wife before.

just received this call again. I qualified for a govt grant.  When I told the foreign speaking guy, that i'm on the DNC list, he said so you want me to call you everyday then.  He then said he would come visit me and bring guns and bullets and started swearing, FU, MF, etc.Something needs to be done but I can't find any info. Can anyone help?

Been getting calls from this number several times a day, today I answer and start off with "stop calling my phone, i have been getting crank called by this number 5x a day for 3 days" and hung up.

I just received a call. At first it was quiet and I almost hung up but then a man came on the phone saying I have been selected for a grant from the federal government. I asked which agency and he said the treasury department. He said I have to varify information and he started giving my address. I stopped him and started asking questions. He said the government wants to reward me for being a good citizen and paying my bills on time. When I then asked for the specific agency he said all I need to do is provide my account number or credit card number. I said I don't give out that information. He said I could get a prepaid card and he will call me back tomorrow. I asked him why I couldn't get a check and he said that too many people complain that they never receive their checks. He also said it would only take 40 minutes once I gave him my information to receive this money.

This number has called and called. I've had this number for a week and they've called 17 times. Shows from Washington dc I've asked the guy to not call back and he keeps calling. I cussed at him and told him to not call back and he said I'll call all I want to I'll kill you. It made me laugh. Dumbass foreigners.

They called my GF and stated they had a federal grant for 8000 dollars and they needed her credit card information to deposit it.  The scary part is that they already knew her name and address.  Give them no information and deny that you are the person they are trying to contact.  Thank you, Wendy, for reporting them.  Can you post how to report them so others may do the same?

Same thing has been happening to me. A woman named Kim called, and i asked what company she was calling from. She then asked me why I would assume she was from a company (since i know no one from the east coast) and went ahead and read off an old address to me, which I replied wasn't mine. This is where things get real crazy, she then told me she was "coming to my house tomorrow at 11 AM and to be ready, over and out."  So I advise not even bothering to answer the phone anymore.

Chris called me today and said that I was a recipient of a Govt. grant because I was unemployed! and as long as I didn't spend the grant money on alcohol and drugs and since I had not filed bankruptcy claims over the last six months.

Whew! Chris then asked me for either my bank account numbers or credit card (including WalMart card) numbers: I opted to give him a MasterCard number, replete with CVV at the back. The number was actually a Visa number, and a figment of more his imagination than mine, considering he wrote down all the details, including my changed address, also virtual.

And now, I'm supposed to call Ms Laurie at 202 470 3732 or other number close by with my grant confirmation number of JK 113 to confirm that I'm indeed the recipient and so that the monies can be transferred to my account within 40 minutes or so.

Pretty cool, free! money and all that: someone _must_ inform the govt. that a lot of people are getting extravagant with the Govt.'s money ...

Maybe Chris'll call me again, maybe he won't: if he can attempt to string me along, I've got other rides he needs to take, perhaps?

This is a phishing call, trying to get your banking info, they state they are from the Us Treasury Dept.  They let me get quite of bit of info, I have reported them to the FBI, Federal Trade Commission, and www.IC3.Gov.  

They continue to bug me I will continue to just use swear words and personally offend them.

Just received this call.  DO NOT GIVE THEM THE INFORMATION THEY WANT...SCAM!  SCAM!  SCAM!  Person on phone said the government randomly picks a certain amount of people each year to give $8400 to.  I was the chosen one!  Ha!  I played along and asked how the money is received.  The answer is to give them either my BANK ACCOUNT INFORMATION OR A CREDIT CARD NUMBER.  They would then wire the money into the bank account or add the money to my credit card.  I asked for a preloaded card in the mail.  They said no and hung up.  I'M IN MY 60s.  PLEASE, SENIORS....DO NOT GIVE YOUR BANK OR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION TO ANYONE!  PERIOD.  

Just got a call from them was told they were from federal govt and I was selected to receive 84 thousand dollars that I would not need to pay back.Asked her if she enjoyed working for a company that scams people......imagine that she got upset with me and hung up. Lmao :)

People have been calling me at least since November of 2013 looking for a Manuel. They have called about schools, grants, technology, jobs, etc. This is the most recent. I have asked politely to be taken off their list but I just get passed around to the next call center. Today I asked to be taken off the list and he insisted I knew who Manuel was and if I was him. I asked him if I sounded like a Manuel which stumped him. He said I sounded like a woman. So I asked him again to take me off his list. Then he insisted I tell him my name. No. I hung up.

These people have been calling me for the last 5 months, they just change their phone number often.  They have been trying to get me to accept $8000.00 from the government if I will give them my bank account number or debit card number.  One time he  said FU to me, I just laughed and hung up.  I think the only way to stop them is to change my number.  They are definitely foreigners.

I have been recently relieving calls from this number the past three days. They never leave a message and as one person has already stated when you call them back you get the "all circuits are busy, try your call again later" pre-recorded message. I am now blocking that number and suggest others do the same. Sounds ti me like obe of rhose phone scams. Actually it is a sort of phone harassment.  

Calls 2 to 3 times a day, almost every day.  No message left and when i do answer nothing is said.

This phone number just called me and said the government has selected me to have $8400 grants. She then attempted to ask me if I want this transfer to my checking or saving accounts or credit card. I hung up when she got there.

I just received a call from this no. on my home fone. Caller ID shows DC. Glad I didn't answer it.  I live in Perth Amboy NJ.

This caller has been calling me 5-6 times a day for the past 3 days.  They do not respond when I do pick up and do not leave a message when I don't pick up.  

They called saying I have attain money for college but it sounded like a scams. I dont know they didn't even speak good English

This person keeps calling and never leaves a message...when I called it back I always get " the circuits are busy try later."....don't even bother answering the phone when you see this number....someone has nothing to do but annoy people.....

I got a call from this # and the guy told me he was from the Treasury Department.  I said "Oh yeah?"  and he hung up. Same number called back an hour later.  Don't bother answering this one.

call 4 or 5 times a day
