Many many calls Guy said he was from tresury department of Washington dc.  Finally fed up so I started probing into what countries tresury.  Then tryed to mix him up by asking if he had a Texas accent.  Clearly indian.  He told me to exploitive deleted myself in the exploitive deleted.  And hung up.  Smug sense of satisfaction.

This # called said they were from the Treasury department and was looking for my son. It was a cell phone and our phone is unlisted told the guy it was a different last name for resident an he hung up

I'm getting the same calls. Are all of you doing pch online? Wondering if they are getting our info from them. Never got calls before. But once I ordered something from pch. I started getting these calls. This is a scam

This guy has called about 50 times using different phone numbers. He says he is from a government grant office.  Usually I don't answer, but occasionally I get angry and answer to tell him that I have reported him and to STOP calling . He laughs at me and makes fun of me. Yesterday I got a post card telling me to call. I cannot believe they have my address ! How can I get this to stop ?

I blocked several unavailable and private callers in the last three days and today I got a call from 202-666-4067.  I have asked my phone provider for help in blocking these calls and they have a service I can use to go in and block calls.  They are offering an 8000 grant and they are calling from out of the country.  They are able to change the caller ID to make it look like the call is from DC and the other call I got was from 254156 "Unavailable" or Private Caller.  There is no such thing as this 8000 grant they are trying to give you.  They want you to pay them and they want your credit card number and or your bank account number.  Report this to the FTC and keep blocking the calls.

Yea Im getting the same calls, Lets give them the ph numbers for our senators and congress people maybe they will get tired of this calls and do something  about it since the calls are comming from Washington DC......

omg same here ! but I had a guy. I'm like I don't give a f*** if your god or the president of the United States you're not getting my personal info. so I hang up. he calls back. I'm like listen send me the money in the mail you have my address and he's like no. I'm like ok then stop calling me. I hang up. he calls back. I'm like do you not understand English you Indian f***! he's like I understand I'm just trying to f*** you in your p****. I'm like okay, have a nice day I'll be reporting you I have your address name and other phone numbers you've called me from. have a great day. they haven't called back since.

I received the call too!!!  They kept telling me that I had earned a grant of $8000 as well and that I do not have to pay it back all I need to do is give them my account information so that they could deposit the $$$....I told her that I was not giving out any of my information - that they could send me a check....She said OK.....It will cost $215 to send the check....I laughed and her and told her she was caught in her scam because she was asking for $$$....She hung up....Same thing - when I call back all agents are busy - call back later!

Company called saying because I had paid my taxes on time I am receiving a grant of $8,000.  They wanted an account number of mine so they could deposit  the money to me within 48hrs.  They said it did not mater if we did not have any money on this account.  I am assuming they just wanted my account info so they could give me the shaft!!    If its to good to be true, it isn't true.

Lady called from Washington D.C. said because I paid my taxes and had good credit, that the government was sending me a grant that I did not have to pay back, for $8,000 wanted my bank info so they could deposit this money and when I refused she got really nasty and hung up. I knew it was a scam from the git-go this has happened several times. please, please do not give these people any of your personal info they will access your bank account and the rest will be history. maybe if enough people will report....someone, somewhere might be able to stop these scammers! :)

I got a call from this number and they asked for my daughter. My daughter is 11 years old. I asked what could an adult possibly want with an 11 year old child and the person hung up. Obviously a scam of some sort.

I also have been getting these calls all day but when I answer no one says nothing. I called the number back and get a recording that says all circuits are busy at this time. Last year I got a call from a Washington DC number the man told me that I had won some money from publishers clearing house and that they could not locate me knew that was a lie.hung up on him later that night got a call from a Jamaica number was the same man I cursed him out and hung up the phone. Do you know the dummy called me back 2 days later with the same crap I cursed him out again told him I knew it was a scam that I had all the numbers and his name and if he ever called me again I was going straight to the police click went the phone. Never heard from Mr.King again.

I got the same call as dabren77 but I had a guy named oscar and he wouldn't send me a check so I knew it was a scam especially when he didn't have the right address  and if he my tax info apparently. I said f*** no I'm not doing this go f*** yourself and hung up. He calls me back and said he'd f*** my p**sy so what kind of professional government employee would do that. Beware of these scam artists because they've also used different numbers another one called me yesterday but the number was 2026669118 but they just hung up on me. ,

The phone rang; message ID said District of Columbia.  I answered - no one on the other end.  These calls make me nervous for my safety.

I too got a Call from Lady telling me that because I had paid my taxes on time the government was giving me a Grant that I didn't have to pay back and that I could spend it on what ever I wanted, but not on beer... really WTF!!! ok so I told her o great send the check over LOL!! but she said that I had to give her my debit or credit card and I told her I didn't have one. she told me what person doesn't have a credit card and told me to go buy one of those prepaid cards and add $300.00 so that they can deposit the grant on that Card again. hahaha trying to piss her off I told her no send me a check to my house you have my phone number and my address and she said that's not how it works so I told I knew all this was a scam and she turned into Hulk.. Calling me a Bit@h and to go Fu@k my self!!.... hahahaha!!!!
Please don't believe these people do not give them any Information at All They are a SCAM!!!

Consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

They have my address and Phone number. They claim they are giving you a grant but you have to give them more information. If you say no, they will continue to try to persuade you until you hang up. Once you hang up they continue to call. They have called about 20 times now and the phone is still ringing! This is harrasment!
