Keeps calling and hangs up

Theses scammers called my wife offering the same bs grant went she refused to give any info and hung up on them them called back even left her a voice mail cursing her for it , I would love to find who these people are and where they are located to give them what they deserve., They can't even speak English these f***in morons

They are keep calling me too, but I hung up on them. Like a guy from India kind of accent. I was a Customer Service Supervisor for a few years in a call center... anyhow... agents (reps) have daily quotas what they have to meet. For example at my location, agents had to have 250 calls a day average to qualify for monthly bonuses. So if you get someone to stay on the phone with you and you have to repeat the questions multiple times (accent or customer suspicious) your handle time will be high and you won`t make that many calls.. some agents in the end of the day try to make up for the long calls to call customers and hung right up, since it will still show as 1 outgoing completed call. Some agents would do this in the last hour ever day.
On my phone, I can add the number to my contacts like "do not answer" and under options "send calls directly to voice mail". This way they don`t interrupt my day, like today, on a Saturday they called like 5-6 times already, but I only know that from the call history. Hope this helps.

Offering government grants always calling supposly from Washington D.C why do thei know my name my phone numbet and myvaddres thats not cool. Please prevent this they dont have an american acsent its morelike arabians or englands

I got the same call on Fri 7/5/2013and decided to google it, same thing they asked for a checking acct. and the lady said the money would be in my account by today, I told her the IRS takes a 3 weeks to depost my money, and I asked her if she works for the government she said she does, when I asked for a call back and told her to hold on she hung up the phone, and you can hear a lot of people in the back round not sure if this a call center or what but if it's a scam it's a huge one imagine them doing it to hundres of people with 50 of them calling a day that's a lot of money to scam.

A lady called on Wednesday from a blocked number this week and today from the number listed and said that my name and number had been chosen because my taxes and bills had been paid on time and that I was eligible to receive $8400.00 from the U.S. Government.  I told her that it was difficult to understand exactly what she meant by all of this and asked her to repeat everything and she hung up.  On Wednesday when she called I simply asked her if she was in fact calling from a legitimate section of the U.S. Government then why was the number blocked and could she leave me a number to call her back, she hung up then as well.  What is the world coming to???

I didn't answer the call from this number but would not want to be called by this number again.

They called my sister and knew her address and name, but halfway through the call she hung up. Then she tried to call them back and it said the line was busy, after I tried calling and it said the same thing. Now she's scared for her life, but I'm scared for our whole family.

Received 3 calls from this number, first two times no answer last time got called a terrorist bc in would not give my name. Asked to speak to a supervisor said he was a supervisor. He called my mom a prostitute. Cussed him out. He started to cuss me too. Then finally hung up. I called the number it rung a couple times and a automated voice said all lines are busy please try your call again later.

Called me asked for me by my first name. Woman reading a script poorly told me that due to my filing my taxes and paying my taxes I qualified for free grant money in the amount of 6,000. She requested that I give her my bank account information or a credit card. I told her I would never give out my banking information to a random person over the phone. She then starting saying we had a bad connection when I could hear her perfectly fine. She hung up As if the Federal Government is handing out free grant money so random and certainly if this were true they would not hire people that can't even speak English. SCAM.

Have received numerous calls from this number and related numbers the past week or so. Every time I tell them to stop calling me. Today I told the guy that if he can't even pronounce my name, I know it's no one I know or need to know. I again told them to stop calling me. I might try answering with the State Attorney General Office line...see if that works. This is ridiculous.

i received a call from this number too a girl say I selected for a grant money, but I don't understand, I said to her grant money. for what...she hung up the phone and I try to call her back this number say all circuit is busy.. it seem like a spam number..

Asked to speak to me & I said NO & hung up!!I called # back & it says all circuits busy now (& forever most likly)!!Another # on my block list!!

Received a call a few hours ago on my cell phone but couldn't get to it to answer - no message.
Just received a call again. Said is this Don (Last Name).  I said yes, and then the man with a foreign accent hung up.  Why do they bother calling?

I got call from this number. A girl told me I have randomly chosen for government grant. It is 8400. She asked my bank account. I did not give of course. I gave my empty gift card information. Then she gave a confirmation code and a number to call. Before I called, I checked online and found out that was scam. He told I have to pay 215$ for processing. I told the guy no thank you I do not want that money. He said ok and hung up

the person did leave there name and wouldn't answer questions

I have been called from this # 202.666.5450 at lease 5-6 times a day without a voice message. I decided to answer and started asking questions like: who is this? What company are you calling from? etc. Answered very rudely very disrespectful, and he hung up in my face. The person who called is very unprofessional...

had been receiving calls from the same number. I finally answered saying, Arizona State Attorney Generals office, how can I help you?  No more calls.

they call me all the time stated they were the gov. and I had qualified for a grant for 8400 and they needed to know how I would receive it and all they can use is your bank info!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! when I said no they got real rude and hung up they have a strong accent

I received 4 calls on July 1st and 2 on July 2nd so far and it was the same guy saying something about I won grant money.  I told him not to call me and he keeps on calling and after the first call, guy started swearing and using the "f" word and calling me all sorts of names.  On the first day also said "I am not interested in anything you are selling and take me off your phone list".  Still the calls keep coming in.  How rude of this company to allow such staff to use foul language when calling.  They don't think that you may be sick, have someone sick in your household and don't want the phone ringing, baby sleeping, etc.

Called and said they were from Govt grants

I just revived a call have them my old visa card number saying I won a grant of 8400 dollars I was sketchy bout it so you know I have them an old card number thru still works I could cancel the account and they want 220 donation few if it sending me 8400 bucks for 220 Rhys messed up

My friend had received a call from this number saying that he won a FED grant. He believed them and wen though the whole process. He even received the money on a Green Dot Card that was given to them. I knew something wasn't right it so i went searching and after reading all of this, I see it was a scam. I just hope nothing crazy comes out of this situation.
