Was told I had been chosen to receive a government grant for 8,040 and I didn't have to pay it back. All I need to do was send 230.00 processing fee and the money would be deposited in my account. Once I paid the 230 dollars another guy was suppose to call me with the details of my deposit. When I received that call it was from Mike Michael s at the Federal Reserve Bank and he wanted me to pay him 598.00 security deposit which would be refunded when they deposited the money in my account. I said no  way, u told me to pay 230.00 and now u want me to pay 598.00 security deposit. Some guy name Judge Williams took all of my account information. The initial call came from 202-666-7357, Judge Williams # is 1-202-370-740 and Mike Micheals at the Federal Reserve Bank # is 646-257-3488.

They call and call and call. They wanted my bank account information over the phone.

These are Indian scammers!!!!!! I was the victim of identity theft before, by people just like this. They are relentless and will try anything. They call anyone. They called my daughter, she gave the phone to me. They get annoyed very fast when you begin asking questions. They wanted to give her a govt grant. I kept asking for a web site, they couldn't give me the proper web adress. I asked for them to send it in a check form, they said it could only go on a credit card. If someone calls you and it doesn't feel right ask questions. Give them the wrong info!!!!

I got a call to never says anything then hangs up very weird

This number keeps calling me, every time they call me and I pick up and stay quiet over the phone to hear somebody talk, but nobody talks and I hung up

I thought this was pretty funny because my roomate just got a call from them, and my god he gave them hell. Jersey accent, and all.

Number called my cell several times when I answered foreigner couldn't understand much but same bs everyone else is getting ain't nobody gonna give money away but there are some elderly people I'm sure have gotten scammed hell they already aren't paying taxes what more do they want

i've just got a call from this number and it is clear that is a fake...

Just received a call from someone with a heavy Indian accent.  He said he was from the U.S. Treasury Dept,  I told him I had difficulty hearing him and he hung up.  Just another part of their scam I suppose.

I received a call from phone number 1-202-666-7359 stating I have been selected to rececive some grant money in the amount $8,400. He would give me call back number after I give him my credit card number to have the money transferred to my card. I told him the call me back in a couple of day than I will have the card. He ask did I have a friend who would let me borrow they card. GO FIGURE!!

This number has called me at least 5 times a day for the past week. No one answers. I've called back, all it does is say all lines are busy and to call back later. It's starting to really tick me off! It's a scam.

Said I won a grant for $8500.00 all I had to do was sent a $1,000.00. I asked were to send it and click. they have tried three time sin the past two days

I have never answered any of their phone calls but everyone reporting this number claims they ask for banking information because they want to reward you with money and they also claim to be apart of the US government treasury. When people ask for more information, the accented person then hangs up. This is an obvious scammer.

This idiot just attempted to call my daughter with the same scam...she quickly conferenced me in on the call...I began asking questions & he got frustrated & advised me to accept the money or reject it.  Advised he was not speaking to a child.  Advised him I could not understand him due to his broken English...asked to speak with someone who speaks clear concise English...of course everyone was busy.  Asked what would she use the money for and then went right into which account do you want it deposited into...advised we would only accept a check...no account information would be given...the phone went dead!!

My wife got this phone call twice.  Yesterday they said they had money for her and asked for personal info like her SSN.  Today they called back and she told me they were calling.  I listened as I wanted to hear the b***s*** they were spouting.  They said they had over 8K to give her because she was a good tax payer and that all they needed was a credit card or bank account.  Up until then, she had been doing the talking. I then interrupted them and told them not to ever call our numbers again with this fake b***s*** and they aren't getting any information from us.  Total scam.  They were heavily accented.

Called me at 5:59 am! I answered and they hung up

I have been getting calls, several times a day, nearly every day, even weekends. Always shows as an "unknown" on my phone, so I have avoided answering...sounds like I have made the right choice.
Sadly, I have a couple of other numbers starting this pattern, as well.....  My question is why, and for what purpose are these individuals calling multiple times a day ? I will have to find a way to block unknown numbers on my phone, I guess.....

This number has called me twice today.   Once it was a man and then a woman claiming to be from the US Treasury Dept.    I said I didn't belive them and they hung up.   This is definately a scam...

they called me two time today, i thought it's a scam, so i tried fooling them into thinking i was someone else when they asked for me. i then accidentally hung up on them and planned to look up on this number, turns  out i was right.

I continue to receive calls from 202-666-7359,,,,when I answer the call begins counting down.  The call is to my cell phone and no name or company comes up.

I got this call twice. THese are scammers. Report them. I take the call and tell them, I am aware of these scams, and will verify their phone number and call them back, boy do they take off running. Don't agree to anything

I'd like to know just how the hell these people are getting our numbers so they can pull this illegal crap?

This number just called my husband and a man with a heavy accent told him he OWED $4000. He was persistent that my husband agree he owed this money but would not tell him what it was owed for. My husband yelled at him that he had the wrong person and the man got mouthy with him so my husband hung up. When I called the number back the name of the company was not clear and it was a sound like a disconnected number would give saying that the company was busy and to call back. What type of scam is going on?

I keep getting a call from this number during school every day so I never get to anser it to see who it is but it has been every day for the last couple weeks and it is only during the week. I do not understand the need to call someone every day for weeks if they are not going to answer. I do believe this is a fraud, but I cannot tell for sure.
