They just text from 2 diffrent numbers at the same time saying hes in a military  base and cannot meet but give him my zip code to determine cost of hauler.

Same here. Guy calls this morning  from (202)-681-8415 wanting to buy jeep sight unseen. Military,paypal only, San Antonio and bad grammer. So tired of these idiots. Thanks to all of your post I was spared the trouble

i am currently having a conversation with a Christina Bertilone, i thought it smelt fishy so i googled her name and boom! pretty low for people to scam others posing as a military person. watch out for this people scumbags are out there

The same exact BS happen to me I wish I could reverse the call and locate the person.

Got a Call from 1 202 681-8415 concerning a Craigslist Ad. Individual appeared to be very interested and then stated I will call but you must enter 92 before answering.    When 92 is selected the phone states account set up and hangs up.

Same person/number trying to buy 14k motorcycle off craigslist wanted me to use paypal for payment but i told them bank wire only,not heard back..so I googled this phone number and seen all this scamming..what a f....ing idiot....sellers beware.

Received the same exact text wanting to purchase my Harley through pay pal. Somebody needs to deal with these people before they actually scam somebody

Just got the same text and he is trying to tell me that he is serving in the military and he is located in maryland and i just said no!

Attempted to buy my car that I have advertised on an enthusiast site, within around 12 hours after I put it up for sale.  Within two texts Sarah Robinson wanted to pay full price via paypal.

Yes, this just happened to us on Craig's List. Thanks for the info. on the website. I was suspicious and called PayPal, deleted all my important information as well.

just got a bunch of text messages from a Christina bertilone trying to buy furniture for 1250 without seeing and she said her hauling company would pick it up. I thought it was weird but people do crazy things so I gave her my paypal info then half an hour later we got emails saying that 1950 was deposited to our account but in order to have the money released we had to send 600 dollars via Western Union to a Frank something for shipping and handling. I thought this was way to crazy so googled her name and found this out. I'm in virginia too so this is crazy! What can we do about this fraud?

I guess I had a reason to be suspicious of the bad grammar, and fake name.
