i just got the same call from that man n he told me the sane story i needed to deposit 250.00 to rec. 7500.00 so i asked hm for his badge # n he changed the subject so i told him if this s true send a check  w my award letter ffrom the govt. n he hung up it a scam

How can our government allow this to happen to hard working tax payers...why dont they find out where these people are and send them all to jail...this is bull s***...why are Arabic sounding people using american names and trying to get us to send them money to receive a grant that is free...

I got a call as well and when i asked where they were calling from he said DC but i did a trace on the number and although it is a DC number its a throw away phone and they tell you that money is available to you but you have to send $275b to get it...i said i was told that it didnt cost a cent and here abdul akmad says send him 275 and i will get 7500.00 so i said...go f*** a goat or a camel

Its a scam ! I talked to my county police and they told me there is no reason to have to pay money for a government grant ! I am glad that the ladies where i went had me do that first cause otherwise i would have been out 250.00 !

I ad received a phone call saying that I had been chosen for a gov't grant and that they could send it to me through direct deposit, debit card or western union. A confirmation number was given to me as well as another number to call. This is a scam, do not send any money or give any personal information out over the phone to anyone that you do not personally know.

They answered for me but want me to put 300.00 on a card to verify its me then they send the money. want to know if its real?

Is this a real thing do you get the money they say and they don't take the money off your card?

They called my cell phone and knew all my personal information. Said they had grant money that I chosen by the government to receive. Told me to call this number back in 10 minutes 202-683-9875 to arrange cash in hand delivery. Also gave me a confirmation number to claim the money.

I'M glad that i haven't send money. I also got call from them saying that i have chosen from 150 people to get $ 7500. from Government. They gave cod and told me call in 2026839875 no. when i call them they said me same thing and told me to send $300. i took out $ 300 from from my ac # and went to western union call them they told me to get green dot money pak for but i was lucky they don't have the green dot card so i told them they don't have it so told me go check in pharmecy k mart so i went to pharmecy and the guy there told it could be the scam put the no in google and check. i'm so thankful to that guy. after that i was busy at my work. after my work i check my phone and there were 4 miss call and the msg it was there call and left msg saying i have to call them within an hour otherwise it will be cancelled. i came home and put i put the no in google and i find out it was scam for sure. thank you guys. i will not mind if i loose money but i would be so mad and angry if i was fool by those m***** f*****.

Just got the same call as everyone else.. I didn' t give them any info and could hardly understand the lady who called... I will not be calling the 202 number! Sheeesh, what is wrong with these ppl! SCAM SCAM!!

Got the call from jill. Told me i could get the money at  walmart or western union.   Gave me a passcode and number to call i called and got a recording. To leave a message i left my name and number.  No call back. They did have good script though

I just got off the phone with a willie dobbs 200 independence ave sw Washington dc 20201 hhh building.  he gave me the numbers 202-683-9875 and 202-436-9770 and 209-682-5880.  I blasted him out!  I am a telemarketer so I know how this works, I just played the game with him.   Do not follow this.   They are trying to get your bank account to get you in debt and asking you to purchase a green dot moneypak  they are trying to do credit card fraud on these cards.  hello everyone Christmas is only 3 months away.  these scams only happy around the holiday right?   don't get sucked in!  

The grant is bs,they called me a few times saying that i was picked for a grant of 7,500 and that i need to send 299.00 to get the grant ,bs don't fall for it.

Haha bi*** a** scammers. Couldn't get me or my money. They just called 5 mins ago. I was gonna get $7000 from them as a grant. They f****d up cause the area code they using is a Washington dc area. I live in Washington dc. They said before we give u ur money in ur account we need a $250 DOWNPAYMENT for security purpose and since were in different states.. I loled and told them, were in the same state and there shouldn't be no money down if a grant is givin to u. They were tryin to tell me how to put my money with the card. But knowing there game i explained that i know the scam. I said would u like me to load 250 on a green dot money pack card and send u the 14 numbers in the back after i scratch it off? They immediately hung up. I called back and left them a message. I said maybe if u was to F*** with someone else u coulda came up. I said y'all f****d up by asking for DOWNPAYMENT for security purpose. Told them y'all can't put money in my account but u can't take out. Said that's my account number and routing number. Told the have fun tryin tp steel from me. F*** u and have a nice day to cut it short lol..

I received a call from the said company saying I was selected to receive free grant money. It sounded too good to be true but free money is good so I entertained their questions. I was told I could receive mt money via western union but that I had to pay $290.00 first...SCAM of course. Nobody that can't speak clear English has the authority to give out government money...LMAO

This number just called me telling me I had been selected to receive a grant from the government due to my interest in going back to school. The man I talked with was foreign and I could barely understand him. He gave me a conformation number and then I turned around and called my local Western Union and spoke with a rep to try and see if this was a scam... $7,785 seemed too good to be true. I had to show up with a $285 deposit in order to get my loan (that I would not have to pay back, which if you ask me the government will ALWAYS make you pay back loans.) The lady explained that these numbers that pop up as unknown callers are normally a scam and to NOT feed in to it. If it sounds too good to be true then it normally is... Don't feed in to this. IT IS A SCAM.
