Jeezus.   How can people not recognize a scam when a perfect stranger with an Indian accent offers you something?

I was told the same thing only the girl on the line never got to the part where she asked me to donate anything. when I asked her what company this was I realized she had an accent. She started cursing at me and I told her she was a scam artist. I called her back 15 times before she blocked my number. And then I called the guy that gave me her number. His phone number was 202 697 7222. He had already blocked my calls. Lol!!! She was furious by the time she was able to block me.

I received a call from 1-202-697-9328 saying how I was chosen to receive ten thousand dollars from a government grant no charge to me, and then he asked for my routing number and account number and then gave me another number to call which is 1-202 697-9328 and gave me the following JMI146. The woman identified herself as Sophie ext. 402. I did call my bank to report this and they will keep a watch out for me. I just thought to report this to you as well. Thank you. You never have to pay for ANY kind of grant - no application fee or processing fee.  Nor a "donation"!

Got redirected to this number to get grant money and was told I needed to pay a processing fee over 180. When I told her I didn't have that kind of money and to cancel everything she said f*** you and hung up. She clearly wasn't American and had an old address of mine on file.

Some calling trying to get information about my name, address and bank account. Saying they are the government and giving me a grant for being a good citizen. They called from  202-697-7222 and directed me to 202-697-9328 to get the loan.  They had my name right but the wrong address and did not know my age.

they had called me and directed me to this number stating that i needed to pay $180 one time fee and told me i have been approved for a grant $10,200 from the u.s grant.

I got the same call from 1-202-697-9328 and they already had my card number they said they just needed me to confirm the numbers on the back.  Uhh no, don't think so.  Then Joey Stevenson asked me to call the same exact number he called me from to give them a code (but make sure I didn't give it to anyone else because they could steal my money.) Then a lady told me she needed my bank account number for a 1 time processing (or transfer) fee from the U.S. Government Grant Department.  Shame on these people that try to steal from hard working people.  Please don't fall for their BS.  Best of luck to you.  I am going to file a report on the government website and I encourage others that have gotten this call to do the same.

It's a SCAM! Stupid ppl. don't even know how to fish for info. they got mad when I asked questions and hung up on me and Blocked ME....

Just got a call from this number also. The guy said his name was Joey Stevenson. Didn't sound American at all. Said my name was randomly picked from a survey (??) and that I've paid my taxes and am a good citizen (haha). Anybody figured out if this is a scam or not??

They called and said i got a grant for $10,200 dollars and a $180 donation to the red cross and I could pay with a card or green dot money pak.,.......

i got the same call from this number 202-697-9328 and they ask me for $180.00 feet i look quick in this page and ask her for the website and they hangup immediately they dint have website so are fake.

Got a call from a different 202 number that said to call this one and also said i qualified for a 10200 grant that i can use for anything. the man's name was damon scofield and his gov. id # was Eid0060 and physical address is 200 independence west DC 20101

I was contacted by this number, told I receive a 10,200$ One time federal grant once I'd donated 205$ to a charity....

I got the same this but said I have to pay 200 for a fee in my bank account I cent know if it's a scam

Just got a call from another number that directed me to 202 697 9328  saying hi would get 10grand if I donated 200 from a grant
