I just received a phone call from 253 205 0739 and was told that I was going to receive 7000 grant money for being an excellent taxpayer with no criminal record and that I had 45 minutes to contact 202-617-9911 with confirmation code. Person spoke terrible English but had my privately listed cell phone number, and my name and address, even though I have not been living there long. He asked me if I wanted to transfered immediately to my bank account, so I told him I preferred cash. He hesitated and said that I could get a money order sent if I called that number. DO NOT FALL SCAM for these idiots. The government grant process is lengthy and believe me, you would remember going through it. There is no such thing as free money the government will call you to give away to you.

I just received a call from 631 353 4110 about,a govern grant and to depost $200 at western union so I could get a $7000 grant. Its fake. What can we do to stop these people?

I got this call today with the same information. He said I had to call 2026979911 within 45 minutes with my ID number that he gave me and talk to an agent. I could barely understand him. I didn't call the number. Instead I came to 800 notes first to see if anyone else had rec'd a similar call. And it was a scam.

I just got this ridiculous call from a private number saying I was selected to recieve 7000 dollars in grant money. I was asked to go to western union, put a $299 deposit on money and I would receive 7000 in 20 minutes. PLEASE STOP THESE PEOPLE. They had our information!

hey i got a call from +16313534110 and the guy asked me to call to this # 2026979911 and the person said that i have been selected to receive $7000 because of my credit and tax history, he then told me to deposit $ 300 at western union money transfer for amount to be disbursed which i ignored, this is a big scam please don't fall prey to this. Be cautious.
