It's a scammer using a cell phone.

A Nicole Johnson called and left messages with my mother, deceased brother, and brother in law for an ongoing investigation for my husband from a Check Fraud Division of North Carolina.  Said that he needed an attorney present during the call and yada yada.  I contacted local law enforcement and he told me that it sounded like a scam.  I googled Check Fraud Division and was directed to this site where others have been called by almost the same exact number from different parts of the state and other states as well.  If they call you or asking for a loved one DO NOT give them any information over the phone. IT IS a SCAM!!!

They call claiming I owed a payday loan and I was going to be picked up by a certain time and arrested .
