Yet another bogus call, from a bunch of crooks (the 202 area code is popular with such folks).   Would get rid of our land line phone, except the fact that we don't get decent cell reception.  Am beyond tired of receiving so many nuisance calls.

I just got a call from this number and answered it right away.  The caller was a sand monkey, call about supposed vets donations.  I just said FY  and hung up.

The boxes you refer to are labeled: "Please provide at least one way of contacting you".  There is no place to enter the number you want added to their "political do not call" list.  It sounds like a scam that will sell your numbers to a telemarketer.

Scummy scammers!   Have them blocked but they still keep calling.  Was part of a group of calls ....

This is a Bogus Veterans Group....Don't fall for it. It's a scam! This group is not a legit Veterans organization nor is it recognized by either the American Legion or the VFW.

Got a call from this number today.  Caller id said "Wash DC Call".  No message left

Same experience as the others reported - answered call and no one there. I dialed back and no answer.

This time this indian  guy left message on voicemail and I don't understand the f*ck  is he talking about. Caller ID picked up this number V81919464500129  202-730-9932.

You don't have to renew your phone number on the DNC, it is permanent! Unless it was a sales call, the Do Not Call registry does not apply. This caller would appear to be a charity or political organization soliciting donations and so is exempt from removing numbers on the DNC list.

Scammers/fraudsters/extortionist will not use or honor the DNC list either!

these robro calls come through several times a day. I think the do not all is so ineffective.
I renew my request and it's still heavy. That organization should be fired, wasted  dollars.

Answered and no one there, so hung up, they called right back and same thing, no one there so I hung up.

Did not answer.  No message.

They keep calling and I keep leaving them blocked.  Bet that they are running a  fake charity.scam or something similar.

This call had come in 3 times in the last two weeks. I know it's a robo call and I know that if you are not the first person to answer you get nothing as I have the last three times. I always let the phone ring two times to keep from dealing with these people but I am tired of this. How do you stop this type of charity call. It makes me mad that the "Do not call List" does not include political or charity calls. I don't want any of them.

This number keeps calling, even though it has been blocked.  Appears to be just another scam call, and am pretty tired of such calls (4th one today).

Phone rings Washington DC 202-730-9932 appears on Caller ID. My child runs to the phone and calls out "Mom, I think the president is calling. It says Washington DC" I yelled back "Don't answer it!"

True enough. LOL  I explained later that it was NOT the president but probably a telephone solicitor. They have called before. Really annoying and yes we are on the no call list too, but they keep calling.

This number keeps calling even though we have it blocked. On days we get a call from this number, we always get calls from a couple of other numbers associated with scams (different area codes, probably all spoofed numbers).  We get lots and lots of scam calls, and didn't realize until the calls started coming through in batches, that many of the different scams, seem to be run by the same bunch of criminals.  For some reason, the  202 area code seems to be popular with the criminals, and although the scam name tends to change (fake charities, and pretend political calls)  .. the goal is always the same, to steal your $$$.

Got another call from this number today.  Rang twice.  This time caller ID said "Out of Area".  There is nothing I can do except:  (1)  Not pick up any calls from people places or numbers I do not recognize, and (2) Keep posting these numbers on sites such as this one.  These calls, even though I don't answer them, are still an invasion of my life.  A phone ringing, even if only once or twice, can be an irritation because I frequently sleep during the day.  How do we stop these calls, once and for all?

Got another call from this number a few minutes ago.  It only rang once.  My caller ID this time said:  "Washington D.C.".  Thank you to those who explained to me what "Robo-calls" are.  I looked further into the term and found out that Robo-calls from political groups are exempt from the Do Not Call registry.  To ANonieMouse:  Thanks for the tongue in cheek comment.  I get it.  All the "Do Not Whatever" lists are just that, lists.  They are as useless as the Federal Do Not Call list.  All I can do is (1) Do not answer any calls from people, places or numbers I do not recognize, and (2)  Keep posting these numbers on sites such as this one.  Thanks everyone.
