yeah it sucks big time, I get calls from this number all the time I wont even answer to numbers I dont know any more because it wastes my minutes when these car warranty people call me. I dont even have a car in my name. total scam! so i entered myself onto the donotcall.gov site so hopefully that fixes that.

register your number with donotcall.gov and then if they call you (after your number has been registered for 31 days) you can file a complaint

I recieved a called from the 202-747-7438 number telling me this was the second attempt to contact me to extend my viechicle's warranty.  When I pressed 1 I was transfered to another line.  A rep asked the year and make of my car. When I asked him the name of his company he would not give it to me. I told him the year and make of my car he told me my car should still be under warranty and that I would be removed from their distribution list.  I asked him the name of his company again and he would not give it to me and then he hung up on me.

I called the number back and the number was not is service.

I pressed #1 to speak to someone because I've been getting calls on my house and prepaid phones. When I got someone to talk to named Katlyn I said that there is a problem and she hung up on me with out taking my numbers off the list. I am so pissed!!!!

I just now received a call on my cell #.  I did not pick up, and they did not leave a msg.  I am hoping that this will stop, but my plan is just to ignore them.

Can we slap a class action suit against these guys?? I keep getting disturbing calls on my cell and home phone that will not stop. I am on the do not call registry and still they prevail. When I punch the numbers though, have to listen to their spiel then when I tell them to remove me from their list, they rudely hang up.

This number called my cell phone telling me my auto insurance had expired and this was my last chance to renew before they closed my account.  They never mentioned their company name and offered me a chance to remove myself from their list (which is unlikely, as they left me a voice mail!)  When I called my auto agent, they said no one from their company had left me such a message and my policy was current.  This is a total scam!  Don't pick up!

This number called me AGAIN earlier today.  I have asked to be removed, and yelled at the person for being a scam and the guy just laughed at me.  I want to know WHO actually works for these scams.  Also, what about them actually makes them a scam versus being super annoying?!

They just call me at 9:00 PM, this is really crossing the line. I screamed at the women on the other line and she told me that she was going to call me more times during the night. I think this is even illegal. Can somebody please tell me what can I do about it.

I get a call from that number at least twice a week. I spoke to a rep and told them to remove me from their list and it has not stopped. They are breaking the law and they are severely infuriating me!

They leave messages offering great deals and the chance to remove yourself from your list. The message makes sure to point out that I had willingly signed up to be on the list (I have no idea when), and I can remove myself from only the list last company to call me, not the list used by the auto companies or lawyers or vacation companies. Shortly after wards I was called by (515) 386 8725. Both are scams, and I'm not sure if they're connected.

Damn are they annoying.

The last site I registered my information with was freecreditreport.com, and that site is currently under investigation for selling private info.

This "company" keeps calling my husband's cell and when the call is answered, it says that "This is the 2nd call regarding your vehicle service plan is about to expire..." it then prompts you to speak to an operator.  I finally stayed on the phone.  When someone actually got on the line, I was asked for my vehicle's year, make and model.  I told him I didn't know which one he was calling about and was told, "Whatever one you drive".  I have 3 different vehicles and he chose the Pathfinder (not one of the service vans.)  When I told him I wanted to be removed from their calling list he said that I needed to "ask the Ward." When I asked him to explain himself, he hung up on me.

Recording that car warranty is expiring. I've said this elsewhere but I'm annoyed... I've only had this number for two weeks so only my husband has it. Yet this number and some other telemarketer keeps calling.

i have had this number for 2 weeks and now they call me on new number as well.

I am calling the Better Business Bureau and my local representative.  I have spoken with reps on a number of occasions and when I insist they tell me exactly what they will do to prevent this from happening again they hang up.

Also getting a bunch of calls from this number the last couple of days - I have AT&T, not sure if that's relevant... haven't received any messages though so I'm glad I found this.

They keep calling my work saying it is my 2nd notice on vehicle warranty.  How can I get this to stop?!!!

Just received my 2nd call from this number...did not answer and deleted msg.  It's always "NO NANE" and some area code I do not recognize therefore I ignore the calls...still they are very annoying and I would like to put a stop to them!

Was being harassed by this company.  Found the following link elsewhere on the internet which correctly identifies who the phone re-saler is.  It will be worth your time to call them.  You'll get an accountant initially; give her your # she says she'll have you removed from the list then ask to speak to her boss and inform them that their client is breaking the law:

They are the middleman between Global Crossing Telemanagement and the telemarketers. I threatened Global Crossing with a subpoena for the identity of the caller and they quickly gave me the CCI Network info. When I contacted CCI Network and told them that my mobile phone was on the 'do not call list' and that they were liable for the violations they quickly took my phone number and said it would be taken care of in an hour or less. So far so good.
