Bought s thing 5 to 10 years ago....Even gave a shield #

I got the call from Agent Peter Morgan of the DEA.  First his agent was on the phone with me, and I am a Private Investigator, so I took the first (Nigerian) man for a ride in circles.  Because that idiot did not scare me (heck, if murderers don't scare me, why would a crank caller)  He put his boss on the phone LOL  Agent Morgan.  I said LET me first get something cleared up, I work with the DEA for decades and they don't have such horrible Nigerian accents, they work in our Government and I can understand him.  Then Pete (we're close now)  said "oh he was maybe from our Office in South America he patched you through to me)  I said "ok kid, you have an accent also, it's call white trash trailer park"

He then told me weight loss meds were sent to my address and that I need a Federal Attorney and he will patch me through to the Attorney who is the only one that can help me now.  I told him "IF and I say IF i ordered your stupid phentermine why do I still have 30 pounds to lose!  Idiot, I should be suing your Nigerian South American Drug merchant, I want my money back!"

Then he hung up on me.  He was sucking on what sounded like a Jolly Rancher. So unprofessional of our DEA, don't you think   :-)  (oh and he is working the Seattle office today, but has a Washington DC number)  who needs Reality TV, just answer a few of these calls....

got the same message too! same name, same number, same extension-- calling a place I worked at years ago  -- in a state I lived in years ago.... one of my former co - workers emailed me the message --  I checked the number out against all the legit field office numbers and then did reverse look up and it's registered to an individual somewhere in D.C.  --  crazy!!

I just received a message from a special agent Chris Anderson with the DEA (OCI) Office of Criminal Investigation telling me I am involved in an investigation for attempting to purchase meds online in 2007.  He went on to threathen me about how they had a court order warrant for my arrest and would bring me to the Dominican Republic to face charges.  When I mentioned my sister is a Criminal Attorney, he hung up.  I didn't realize it was a scam until I did a seach online and saw all these posts.  Thank god for all the post otherwise I don't know what I wouldve done.  His number is 202-379-1382 x2227

I also got a call from "Special Agent Jamal Atkinson", saying that if he was unable to contact me today, he would have to issue a warrant for my arrest. I knew it was fishy, because I hadn't done anything wrong. I had a doctor's appointment to go to and had to do grocery shopping afterwards. So this afternoon, I put the phone number (202-769-5293) into google and came up with this site. So I called back twice; the first time, I asked SA Atkinson to call me back. The second time, I said to the recorder, which had J. atkinson's voice, that he would have to issue a warrant for my arrest. Like the prior letter, my call went to a recorder with the same voice as the original caller. J. Atkinson had given me his extension of 2227, but the recorder answered right away, without giving any chance to add an extension.

I got a call from this number saying to call tge DEA? When I call back no one answers it just rungs and rings. I was crying and My son checked this number on the Internet computer and thank goodness! I was very nervous the agent sound real official on the phone message machine. God bless you all for this service of pretend calls.

Got a call today at work telling me they are with the DEA and I started laughing and hung up.  He called me back twice and left a message telling me if "don't know what kind of game I am playing and if I didn't call them back within 48 hrs. they will issue a warrant for my arrest."  Will report them to the real DEA which has an ALERT for Extortion Scam on their website and you can call to report the phone call at:  1-877-792-2873

They're gone now.the number is disconnected. Love it!

Got the same call. I bought a loud noise maker on amazon. I call them daily from my blocked number and blast it in their ear. Trust me they are deaf for hours afterwards. Such fun and it feels great. I consider it a public service to torture these jerks. Join me! We'll get rid of them soon.

Got a call on my voice mail today from 202-769-5293 X2147.  Said they were DEA investigating illegal drug purchase, blah, blah, blah.  I get about 2 calls a month from idiots claiming to be DEA, FBI or US Customs agents.  I answered a call a couple of years ago and spoke to a guy who said his name was "Special Agent Stanley Anderson with the DEA."  He had a heavy hispanic accent and very bad grammar and was trying to pass himself off as a special agent - HA!  He threatened me and yelled.  I hung up on him and he called me back and yelled "You don't hang up on DEA agents."  I told him he was a lying sack of sh## then he hung up on me.  Federal Agents don't call you up to tell you they've issued a warrant for your arrest.  They don't conduct interviews over the phone and they don't negotiate or collect fines.  If they want to talk to you they come and get you.

Total scam although I don't know what they want. Completely illiterate guy. Said he was from the DEA. Ignore!

I just got a call from a guy that said he was special agent Peter Morgan to do with Drug Investigation  to call him back I got the run around  I just did not understand the person he was calling.  He than put me on the line with someone else Brian.  I asked he who he was calling for and why he called( me a BI***.)  That they had called the wrong  number.

A very disturbing scam.  I called the real DEA immediately and they said that its been going on for a while.  Block and ignore.

Got a call today from 202-769-5293.  DEA Agent Atkinson....what a doofus!  He said the same as all the above and when I wouldn't answer questions said he'd be sending officers "right over" to arrest me.  I let him know I would be here waiting.

I just had the same message. The scam scenario is the same if you search it, just the phone number and the agent name changes.  I was freaked out but it looks like this has been going on for a long time.

Yes! While I was in school today "Moe Adkinson" said that. It scared me so bad! I didn't know what to do! And he said that a court warrant would be sent out for my arrest. I'm just a child! I haven't commuted any crimes. And certainly none involving drugs. I hope it's a scam because this man I creepy!

I got a voicemail from this number. Really freaked me out!! I hope it's a scam because they said if I don't call back a court warrant will be sent out for my arrest. "Special Agent Moe Adkinson".

ya, he said the same thing what others said. I said i didn't order such pill and he said he'll send an agent to my place. scary thing is that he has my name, address and number. where did he get this from?!

Got a call from 202 769 5293, Special agent Adkinson, ask me how was I during, and that he was DEA agent
conducting ongoing investigation, they intercepted package addressed to me, it contained control substance,
and if I was taking pain killers under a prescription? I told him I do not answer questions over the phone.
He said he will send agents over to my house to talk with me since I did not want to talk over the phone.

total scam. i said i was an attorney and was ready to fight any charges and he said he was sending an agent over to my house right now. my response was "i hope he's hot" and he said "go to hell". Pay no mind and block em. total scam.

Just received the same call very threatening yelling at me. Gave me a lecture then wanted $2000.& i would have to agree not involve any other parties.. I must keep silent or i would be arrested. I hung up & he called back & threatened me more. These people making these calls should be arrested.

I can't believe the rip offs going on these days. I got a call from the number 202 769 5293, telling me they were from the DEA office. So, I called back knowing that it was a con and I blocked my number and the guy asked me why so I just said "because I wanted to" and his reply was "FOR ME TO SHAVE MY P**SY" can you believe that? So anyone receiving a call from this number doesn't need to worry cause it is a big con!

Exactly the same crap.  The kids got our answering machine message, and wanted to know whats up?  Claims to be Special Agent Gemal Hackenson (sp?) with the DEA, 1.202.769.5293, ext. 2227.  Total scam for bucks!  I was advised I bought online medication illegally years ago, which is horse dung.  I was advised a warrant would be posted for my purchase if I did not pay big bucks......  Scam Artist!

I received the same call- he was threatening to send the FBI and DEA agents to come arrest me because
he said that I bought online medication ( which I did not purchase). I'm not sure what his main
objective was because when he heard me talking to someone in my home he said that the agents were on their way to come get me and  then he hung up.
