Received a call from this number at 10:00 at night. Hung up as I answered the phone. Rude. I'm on the do not call list.

Called right before 8 pm. We didn't answer, and a partial message was left on our machine. it was a "survey" about Republican congressman (not from our district) who, rumor has it, will be running against our "moderate" Democratic senator next year. From what I could gather from the partial leading question, Dems are running scared and already trying to smear this guy. OK, one point against Dems in Senate election in 2014. But a long way to go until then, when the one with the fewest points against gets our votes. We are on state and federal do not call lists, which they would check, if they were smart.

I let my machine pick up the call, which was nothing more than a sudden single gunshot.  Creepy.

Have received many calls from these unknow numbers. Thought by signup for donot call I would be rind of this inconvience. Not happening any one know why??? or care.

at least have the manners to say who you are calling for. Incidently, I did answer your questions, but lied.

Got called just now, late Sunday afternoon.  Thugs left no message.

Whomever called me on a Sunday evening and had no courtesy to leave a real message instead of just dead air, please DO NOT CALL ME EVER AGAIN.

Yes, I get these calls everyday also.Very madening!! Why can't they just honor our no call list ?? They need to stop !!

These idiots called me twice once at 7:21pm which I took the call to listen, they wanted me to take a brief survey that would last three minutes, the first questions was if I was going to vote in the next election, of course I hung up. They ended up calling back at 12:06AM  woke me up from a deep sleep. Those call should not be allowed at that time. IDIOTS!!!!!!!!

as everyone said, it's probably a political thing. I HATE that these fools are allowed to call (they only hang up with the answering machine on) but we're unlisted & on the DNC but it does'nt matter. This was on 2/6/12 at 7:02 PM CT.

When I answered it was a political survey.  Wish this crap would apply to the do not call list.

Politicians are EXEMPT from the DO NOT CALL list... but if you ask, they should still take you off.

I'm told this one had something to do with the upcoming primary in FL.  Politicians are exempt from DNC list.

Just found this number on my answering machine a few minutes ago with Washington  DC as ID. I'm sure it is a politician as I had about 8 calls Sunday from Romney. I can assure him I will not vote for him being that he can't respect the do not call list.
