That's what the text said. How do they get our numbers?

On Sunday at 6:47 pm recieved a text saying (just like the others) I had won a Walmart gift card for $1000.00.

I got the same text message at 10:15PM like others have received from similar numbers stating I've won a $1000 Walmart Gift Card by entering "GIFT" at http://promodaygiveaway.com/walmart. I know our federal regulatory agencies are totally worthless at protecting us from such scammers, but you would think Walmart would have an issue with their name being involved with this scam and at least go after
New Cingular Wireless" (the carrier that ports this phone number, according to a reverse look-up).
