I love these people. I keep directing it to the ditched callers queue with the number not in service message. With the automated tones it tells the robo-dialer the number is no longer in service. Niiiice.
In the short term, you can start adding these numbers to "SPAM" entries on your phone and set them with no ringtone. Amazing how nice it is to completely ignore these calls and not be bothered.

I spoke with a female at this number. She presents a perspective different from the actual ownership of the number. The number actually belongs to an affiliate of ?moveon.org?.
They are progressive Democrats attempting to discredit the other party by trying to appear as having Republican agenda. Very clever! I don?t trust any of them.

Call the number and an automated message will answer explaining who they are and what their "mission" is. Very shortly thereafter, you will be asked if you want to be added to their do not call list. Enter your number and they will verify it back to you. Then you will be told that they have 30 days (or close to it) to comply with federal regulations, but they will try to get you added to their do not call list within a few days. I just did it, cuz what the hell, they already have my number.

Been receiving several calls from 202 numbers for the past week or so, never leave a message. I agree that they are more than likely from politically affiliated groups. Best thing I ever did was download the Blocker app to my phone. The donotcall list is a crock. That's probably where they got our numbers.
