I talked to a Mary parks and then to a David Goodwin. I emailed the site they claimed to work for. Am waiting for a return response. Will post. No I did not even leave my house to go to western union or money gram location.

Victoria, advance fee loans are illegal period!  These are total scam ops, you will not see a dime!  Please actually read the links I posted. Those are Government links.  These loans are the biggest scam ops going! Never send anything Western Union or green dot cards.

Did anyone except me try applying for a loan?  I need to know if anyone actually sent the cash through Western Union and what were the results too.  I desperately need a loan to pay the taxes on my home or I could lose it in a Sheriffs Sale, then I will have nothing at all.  I was going to go and give the $250 to Western Union while speaking at the same time on my cell phone with David Goodwin it's all arranged so far, do I seal the deal on Dec. 3rd, 2013 or not?
I need to know , someone please give me a helpful honest answer.

I also, applied for a loan I spoke with David Goodwin at 202-821-4813 but, I do have a low credit score he informed me through the credit report the credit company or something (darned if I even heard that right) wouldn't allow the loan to go through into my bank acct.  David told me there was another way he could apply my loan which was through Western Union and I would have to bring $250 in good faith to show I won't claim bankruptsy, I'd need such n such information and have to complete the paperwork at W.U.  then W.U. will put the loan through to my acct.  I thought I was dealing with FastCashLoans.
So I guess this is a rip-off scam sceam.  Or has anyone actually done the Western Union deal and what were the results?

rotflmao!   i got the same story except my scammers were named justin and david!
when i called back to receive the news about my low credit score< ....
I simply replied that i was aware of my score and that i was an agent myself.........for the FBI and that federal agents were in route to pay him a visit

I just got the call today from Mr. McWilliams saying I'm approved for 3,000 dollar loan! I gave him all my info and he told me to call (202) 821-4813 to Shane Watson and give him my loan conformation # so I did n he told me he'd call me back in 25 minutes and will transfer the money to my account with me on the phone. So I called back 45 minutes later n Shane told me his supervisor is processing my funds!!! Help me

They claim that they are a payday loan company out of Washington DC.  They speak with broken English.
The intitial proces went something like this:
1) I filled out an on line credit app from a secured site (https.)
2) I got a call from the same 'Shirley' person as noted above.
3) I was told that I was approved for a loan of $3000.
4) Shirley told me that I was approved and she gave me a phone number of 'Chris Matthews' at phone number 202-821-4813.  She also gave me an 'approval' number that I had to give to Chris Matthews.  She told me that if I got an answering machine or voice mail, that it was ok to leave a message and request a call back.
5) Upon speaking to the Chris person, he told me that he was in the process of transferring funds to my bank account.  This went on for a few moments when he put me on hold.  He then came back to the phone and stated that he could not do the 'instant transfer' as I had a 'low credit score.'  (To which I know to be not true)  He then said that I had to go to a Western Union location and forward $253 which would show 'that I could repay the loan.'  At this point I began messing with him and told him to withhold $253 from the transfer that he was about to send me.  He then began making up stories about why he could not do that.  It's actually illegal in Wisconsin (where I'm from) to solicit funds when you are applying for a loan.  I knew I had this Chris guy on the ropes and brought that to his attention.  He hung up on me.

i got the same call n recieved a call from a bank threw these ppl n sent them almost 500 to make sure i was able to pay this loan n no money n my account yet wats goin on its a chris guy ive been talking to

a shirley kent called saying i was approved for a payday loan for 3000 was told to call back and speak to a chris mattews i believe it is a scam

they promised me $3000 today, now no one answers the phone, after they have a ll of my info.

Aren't they calling from a Advance Pay Day Loan Company, Out in Washington D.C. What's his name, Did someone you know, Give them your phone number???
