Calls everyday, caller ID shows cellular call and never leaves a message

Yep I got a call in denver today too-no msg. Just said dist of columbia on caller ID

Same as the others DC Police Action.  No msg.

calls once a day and nobody is there-try to call back and there is no answer

Comes up on caller ID as Washington, DC.  When I answered, the phone was ringing like I had dialed.  I was forwarded to a voice mail that was blank.  State: SC

202-870-5877.  CallerID said Cellular Call.  When I answered there was a delay then the phone on the other end started ringing like I had placed the call.  I did not stay on the phone long enough to let anyone answer.  I live in Michigan.

If they call again I will contact the police.

I will also report this number. Have asked not to be called. Think it is a political action group

the number 202-870-5877 keeps calling my phone.  I am on the do not call list and want this caller to stop!  It is a every day occurance!  Numerous times on my caller ID.

Keep getting calls from this number over the last 3 weeks...caller id states  DC Pol Action

Calls every day between 12 and 1PM. When curiosity overcomes me  and I answer there is no one there - line stays open, clicks, but finally closes.
People HAVE to at least go to the phone to check their caller ID - I am waiting for Dr. call backs, etc - can't take the phone off the hook - this is dangerous and harassment as well.
What do they want by calling and then have no purpose? Is that the purpose - to see if anyone answers? So what?

I receive numerous calls from DC POL Action 202-870-5877. If I don't answer it goes to voice mail but the sound of an open connection is all there is. Today, 9/23/10, I answered the call and got the same open connection - no one said anything. It must be a robo-call that hasn't been turned off.

Please do not call me again. I have been getting a call a day from 202-870-5877. I am on the no call list. This number should be reported for harrassment.

KEEP GETTING MESSAGES FROM THIS NUMBER.  DID A SEARCH. NO OUTCOME.  SHOULD I FILE A POLICE REPORT?

The sad thing is if it is a political call or a charity they do not have to go by the do not call list. Thank your govenrment for letting those get by. I wish there was a do not postal mail list for political junk mail we get 2 or 3 a day when there is an election and there is always an election some place

These people call constantly. Over 10 times a day and will not say anything!

I received a call today from 202-870-5877. They are a right wing political SMEAR group. When I answered the telephone a man started saying that our Senator Tom Udall, D (NM) was going to vote on a bill that would cost NM Tax payers....etc. They were bogus claims made by a shadowy group that doesn't have the decency to have a legitimate call back number.

I too get the call daily, i'm in michigan, says 'cellular call', no one is ever there. soooo frusterating!

that number just called my parents in WV and the caller id read DC Pol. and i live in dc and my parents were worried sick that i was in a car crash! I hate that no matter what you have no power to get people to quit calling you besides being unlisted.

I get message everyday, sometimes twice. On id it says "Dist of Columbi"  I am not in DC I am in MN.

Tried calling back, went to answering machine saying "all lines are busy now please try your call again later."

Getting same. 2 per day also from MN

I won't answer the phone and they won't leave a message. Strange!

And now they're calling Colorado

On my caller ID it comes up Cellular Call. They don't leave a message.
