Caller ID: AICR calls but no message.I am logging in every call and have filed formal complaint with Attorney General of the State of New York. Also contacted my attorney as to any charges I can pursue.

I finaly ansered one of the calls and told the no. They left me alone for 2 months. They were on my caller ID again today. They will keep calling until you answer.

ACIR phone number 2092-870-5882 ....rings a few times, hang up when someone answers, never leaves message on machine.

Have reported this to the Better Business Bureau. Waiting to hear from them.

I got a phone call from AICR today but I did not answer the phone since I don't know who they are.  Out of curiosity, I have been checking GOOGLE to see what I can find about them.  I found this website and several others.  Looks like a fraud with all of the complaints I read about them.

Fight back!  Call these numbers every hour until they stop.  Don't give them name and address or they will put you on a mailing list.  1-800-843-8114 (DC: 202-328-7744).

I've been called 8 times in 8 consecutive days from 8 different numbers.

"Dist of Columbi" is what shows up here in Colorado. I'm never sure if it's the Democratic party mooching for money or who it is.

Same company has called several times and left no message, hung up when the phone was answered, etc.

Caller ID always says AICR (other numbers here on Who Calls Me for other numbers I have that use the same Caller ID show Cancer Research or American Institute for Cancer Research).

Yes, they call here frequently.  The call just now showed WASHINGTON on the Caller ID.  Looks like they call using various names.  The machine answered...no message left of course.

This is supposedly The American Institute of Cancer Research.  They havent stopped calling me for months now.

These are unwanted calls.  If I want something I am perfectly capable of calling and asking for it. Therefore, stop these calls immediately.

DIFFERENT NUMBERS ON DIFFERENT DAYS- SCAMMERS LOOKING TO OBTAIN PERSONAL INFORMATION FOR IDENTITY THEFT- DON'T TELL THEM A THING- THEY ARE BOTTOM FEEDERS- THEY CALLED YOU, JUST HANG UP ON THEM- OR BETTER YET JUST IF YOU ANSWER JUST LAY THE RECEIVER DOWN AND WAIT TILL THEY HANG UP- THEY WILL GET YOUR MESSAGE !!

This organization gives a bad name to charity .  If you say no they will still call if you block their number they will call from a different one . They have called me during dinner at 9Pm at night and on Sundays I filed a report with the BBB but it hasn't stopped them yet .

Received an unidentified call from this number.  I suspect the caller was up to no good when I answered it and they hung up on me.  A polite person would have at least said -- sorry wrong number.

From the nature and frequency of the calls you are getting my best guess is they are SCAM ARTIST
pretending to be with a legit organization, be careful with these guys and do not answer or return any of their calls, It is likely they are running a IDENITY THEFT SCAM and are trying to get personal information out of you social securty or bank account numbers, do not fall for it, these days there are
just so many SCAMS  out  there we all must be careful and only give in person to organizations
that we know and trust are a legit organization.  If you are not already register your name and on the national do not call registry at 888-382-1222 and then every single unwanted call that you get report it
to that DNC number and also report it to the FTC at 877-382-4357, but in a way the DNC law is failing
us, it needs to be much tougher because SCAMMERS will continue to call you anyway and they will only investigate if there a complaints from lots of people, just report every call and hopefully these
JERKS will be prosecuted.  Only if you have lost money from a SCAM the FBI and SECRET SERVICE
could get involved.

NUMBER READS OUT AS AICR --- LEAVES NO MESSAGE --  THE AICR HAS A FEW NUMBERS THAT CALL   LEAVING NO MESSAGE --- I ANSWERED ONCE AND GOT A PERSON -- I TOLD THEM TO STOP CALLING --  SAID THEY NEED MY NUMBER TO STOP CALLING  --- I DID NOT GIVE IT ---    IS THIS A SCAM OR IS IT REALLY RUDE PEOPLE CALLING FROM THE AMERICAN CANCER  RESEARCH ?  HOW DO WE STOP THEM FROM CALLING?

I've been getting calls from this number every weekday during the noon hour. There's never any message and noone answers when I pick up the phone. I want whoever you are to stop calling me!
