That's like being a rubbish truck collector and complaining about the smell.

It's part of the job!  They choose to bother complete strangers during the day and night uninvited..  Pfffft..  No pity for the fools.  

Being polite is one thing to a LEGAL cold caller. (Especially one I can actually understand).   The rest get the back of my hand.

if you think it's bad getting a call from this guy, imagine being this guy sitting in a 110 degree room in India with his boss breathing down his neck and having people hang up on you all day while you are trying to sell this crap.

and by the way they called me today from the 585-310-0255, and like all the others received a message that says this phone number is not set up yet.....well why did I get a fu%$ing call from it then?

Ya, I talked to these people one time except I called a number wrong, it was like one digit off from a very used number, think it was department of labor, anyways I got the Indian guy who was giving away $100 Walmart Gift cards and initially thought it was a promotion associated with the dept. of labor (or whoever I was calling). Then as the call proceeds he informs you he needs your credit card number for the one dollar "processing fee". At this point I started asking more questions and he told me he would put me through to his "verification manager" after he was finished taking my info. I told him I was no longer interested and he simply wouldn't take that for an answer so I hung up. The douche even called me back.
I only bring it up because I got a call from this number today and was trying to figure it out so I googled it and ended up here, guess they are going take another shot at it.
Trust me, if you get these people just hang up.

they keep calling me

I received a call from this number and I do not know who it is.  They did not leave a voice mail, so I deleted the number and will not worry about it.

So it's not just me hen . I got a call from 310 0255 and I answered as soon as I Sid hello it said recording stopped very freaky

My cell phone ringer was turned off and their call went to voicemail, but they did not leave a message. When I called the number back, the recorded message said that the number was not yet assigned. Another scam, no doubt; I'm glad that I didn't answer it.

Telemarketers offering surveys

This number called 585-310-0255, I missed it.  Called back and said this number is not yet assigned.

Got a call from this number on 1/31/14.  They wouldn't take no for an answer, so I finally just hung up on them

I to got a call from #585-310-0255 and another one from 518-561-1160, both times I was told that those numbers had not been assigned yet. These calls are disturbing.

This number called me twice. The first time I missed it and tried calling it back.It did not go through. I had a machine tell me "this number has not yet been assigned." F***ing wierd. The second time I answered and then someone on the other line hung up. Again I tried calling it back, but got the same message as the first time. Spooky s**t.

I received a call from this number regarding a sweepstakes entry from a partner of theirs that I apparently signed up for.  However I don't remember signing up and they could not provide me the name of the partner.  I played along and got transferred to a survey regarding different medical conditions or injuries that could potentially lead to compensation if I or someone in my household  was affected.

After the survey I was then transferred to a rep by the name of "Adam Smith" who mentioned that I won a $100 gift card to Walmart or Target.  All I needed to do was take care of the $ 4.95 shipping/handling via Credit Card.  Nope! Credit card numbers to an unverified source is a big red flag. Along with that fact that his name did not match his dialect.
