The calls from AICR are MOST annoying!!! If I pick up the phone, it goes dead. They have been calling on a daily basis for a long time.

Charity's, some survey's and political calls are exempt from the DNC. However, if you have requested them to stop calling, I would call or contact the FCC any way. Also contact your phone company and file a complaint with them. The third step is consider buying a call blocking device or phone. Devices hold more numbers then phones do.

There has got to be a way to stop these annoying bast**ds. My wife is a handicap paraplegic. They call sometimes twice a day. This upsets her quite a lot. They never respond when we answer. It?s like they are stalkers. Where are some government regulations ?!!!

I receive calls from this number almost daily. Suspected that it was a telemarketer or something like that. Now I know. Thanks all for sharing your experiences.

This company is a scam, they collect money in the name of cancer research, they get 90% collected and to make their non-profit organization legit they donate 10%

Why do you need a last name and zip code in addition to the phone number to stop your robocalls? Seems like you want to open another line of unwanted communication.

These b*****ds call me 7 days a week 3 or 4 times a day won't leave message and that big roaring shrill sound takes off before they finally hang up without saying anything, they do anything to irritate people. I want to sue. I am on the Do Not Call Registry, got call block service and they still manage to get through. I am tired of it I say a 5 billion dollar lawsuit would be sufficent for everybody that's each person. they need to pay, that's invasion of privacy and harrassment.

I just received ANOTHER call from American Institute For Cancer Research (AICR), one of the very lowest rated of all charities because of the fact that very little, or any, of the donated monies goes toward cancer projects.

These people are a complete pain in the A**. Seems they call every day sometimes twice. When I pick up there is no response. Workers at this call center must be having too much fun , so they can just ignore the computer generated call. What a bunch of jerks. This activity should be illegal.

Called this morning @ 8:15; got me up so I did not have my glasses on to see who was calling. When I told her I was not interested; she was still talking when I asked why was she calling so early-then I hung up.

Receive at call from 202 888-9418 at least once or twice daily. Never leave a message. Don't answer now (thank goodness for caller ID) because, once they know it is a live line, they will continue to call. Hoping they will eventually give up.

I am on the do not call list. I have asked these people repeatedly to stop calling and take my number off their list. Today I told them again and they just talked over me. Unbelievable. Reporting them to donotcall.gov now.

I missed their call at 10am today. just called back at 11:40 am and they "missed my call" ... it went straight to voice-message and said "we will try to reach you again later" and no opportunity to actually leave a message "STOP CALLING ME" ... . Said I could press 1 for more info, but no option to remove myself from their calling list.
SCAMMERS ..... http://www.charitynavigator.org/index.cfm?bay ... 64#.UsLzJeLWvAM
Very low rating for charities (20 out of possible 70 points and ZERO stars) ... less than 33% of the money raised (almost $25 million) actually went towards their stated objective, and over half the money raised goes towards "fundraising" expenses.
