yea these guys are a joke. they kept wanting to send it western union, but i was persistent about wanting it on a prepaid master card since there is no way way in hell it would take 310 bucks to punch in some numbers and send me some cash. i do howeverhave to say i was impressed with how long she sat there and listened to me talk before she hung up. i then decided to continue calling because its saturday(yea like the government is gonna call me up outta the blue on the weekend) an i happen to have unlimited min. i mean, who says we cant annoy them back, right. lol

I got a call from these bozos and played along with them for awhile. I told them that they needed to tone down th boiler room noise in the background to improve their scam. i am a retired insurance fraud investigator and it was refreshing to see the level of retard working these scams has not significantly improved in the years since I retired. It is refreshing to know that in this climate of financial uncertainty that Nicole Moore is still working.

Someone should report this number to the government themselves. Ripping off people of their hard earned money by luring them is not the way to ask for money.

I too, just received a phone call from 210-423-1190 by a man with a strong, Indian sounding accent.  He said that I have qualified for a $7,000 grant from the US govt. from a survey that was done in Dec of 2011.I never did a survey back then.  Out of 1700 people I qualified because I was not bankrupt and did not have a criminal record.  He told me to call back to Nicole Moore at 202-905-0426 to claim the money.I did research and found this site and of course will not call that number.  Too good to be true.

I just recieve a call too from a guy sayiny that  I was selected for a grant from the US Government Grants Department. he gave me a woman name Janet Morris and to call her at this number 202-640-5495. I mistekenly gave him my current address and age but I dint call the woman cause after talking to him i realised it was a scam. Can I still be in trouble with identity theft.

Just received a call from these people. The name was nichole moore. There is no government agency called the US Government Grant Dept.  I wish I could call someone and have these crooks arrested.

I too just got a call from an indian woman the accent was so thick I could hardly understand her.  Told me to call this number "immediately" to claim my grant.  I called the second number and it to was a different person with a slightly less thick Indian accent.  My call got dropped (thank you sprint!) but I am quite sure they were going to ask me for money as well, as the woman before this intimated all I had to do was pay a "small fee" for processing or shipping and handling? idk couldn't understand her.  It was actually quite funny as anytime I'd ask her to repeat herself she'd start back at the beginning and read me the whole script again.  She must have done that like 5 times!

What Thomas wrote is exactly what happened to me. A very Indian sounding "Michael White" said I had $7000 waiting for me in free Government Grants he gave me a code "PYTY134" and told me to call "Nicole Moore". A very Indian sounding " Nicole Moore" said pay  $310 at Western Union  for $7000 and  said she would stay on the line the entire time until the money was in my hand. I told her I would call her back when I got to Western Union. So I hung up and called her back and asked for" Janet Morris" and the very same Indian sounding  "Nicole More" said she was Janet. It is a scam. I wish there was something more we could do to stop this.

I just got a call from the same number and was told it was for a 7000 grant. i was told to recall and ask for nicole moore. she said i need to send the 310 to get my money. not to sure about it i told her to send it though the mail asking for the money because if it is fake it will then become a federal offence. she said that the can do that and if i dont trust them then good bye and hung up. i found out that someone on her was told to ask for Janet Morris. so i called the same number and asked for her and the same girl that just said she was Nicole moore said she was Janet. if you get called from this number do not answer it. it is from india and they are trying to steal from you.

My girlfriend just got a similar call from this number talking about the grant of $7000. She actually sent $300 away to India. It is not the 1st or last scam in US.

I too just received a call from this same number stating that i would receireceiv $7000 and the money would be released but I needed to call 202-905-0426 and ask for Nicole Moore. I didnt not call and ask for this women because I highly believe that the government is not going to simple give me $7000 whether its taxed or not.

My Wife received a call from someone with this number also claiming to be from Government Grants with a no-taxable, on-life-time $7,000 gift.  She was told to call (202-905-0426) and ask for Nicole Moore.  I (hubby) did call and talk to her - she said all I had to do to receive the money was go to a Western Union with $190 deposit, she would stay on the phone with me while I made the payment, then I would receive the $7,000.

I innediately called IRS to report the fraud, but they did not listen

I received a call from someone claiming to be from Government Grants with $7000 that I had been selected to receive.  She gave me a number to call back (202-905-0426) and ask for a Janet Morris so she could release the money.  The woman who called had an Indian accent; the one who answered the call-back number was a different person.  She answered, "Hello, Government Grants Department"  and I hung up because I really don't believe that the governemnt just calls you up out of the blue with "free" money.
