Yes, I was told by Juliana Fisher that they were having some computer problems lol.

I received a call from Carol saying I qualify for a government grant of $8,400.  She said I had to give her my checking or debit card # and I told her to mail me the check.  Her reply was that they (the checks) got lost so they could not mail it.  I was told to call a Juliana Fisher @ 202 905-0678 with a confirmation #,  which I did not get (because I didn't give her the information).  I noticed how they didn't speak good English.  A man called / asked questions...confirming my address & marital status.  My reply was whether I had to answer his questions and he hung up.  These people need to get arrested for using the government's name, subsequently putting a stop to this scam.  202 001-5000--this was the number they called me from but I was unable to call it back.

Call the bank right away from the number on the back of your card. They will cancel the account and issue you a new one. Also have them check if these people attempted to debit you and to reverse the charges.
Don't forget to update your information with the utility companies etc., especially if they direct debit your account so there will be no problems the next time they bill you.

This number, stating they were from the "federal reserve bank" just called us yesterday saying that we get a grant for $7,000 because we are a working family that has paid it's taxes on time for at least the last 7 yrs. My husband, was told to call 202-905-0678 and speak to Julianna Fissure.  When he called her she said that he needed to "donate" $120 by western union. That it could be done by credit card, it needed to be cash. This rang bells for me, and I told the hubby that not to give them info because it sounded shady. After all, why would they need us to send $120 to the poor to give us $7000. They could just take the $120 out of the $7000 for the poor if they needed it.....besides if they have money to send us how do they not have money for the poor. And the fact that they stated it had to be done by cash...yeah right. I don't think so....real companies wouldn't need to do that. Money is money to them. I told them hubby, "They only want cash because then it can't be traced or proven you gave them it" Sad, that people would con those that barely make ends meat as is by promises of money. This is definitely a SCAM!! No place would tell you to Give Money, To Get Money. Do not give them any money if you know what is good for you.

I work for a municipal office and even told them I worked with the police and they kept on talking their talk about the $7000. WHEN ASKED WHY I WAS GETTING FREE MONEY THEY SAID I WAS AN UPSTANDING CITIZEN and paid my taxes on time and no delinqentcies. wow what a reward for doing what you're suppose to do in life. I immediatley told the officer on duty and he said it's a scam that's been going on. I had a little fun in the mean time....I gave all fake info to him and when I called Julianna...she was getting tongue tied and nervious and said if I didn't believe her I could call her back when I got the answers I needed because she didn't have time. I told her to relax what else did she have to do? It was her job! Oh well just be careful and remember the old saying....If it's too good to be true it probably is.

I just got that same call saying i have a grant for 7000 dollars from the gov. but this time they asked me where am i gonna spend it saying that the gov. dont want the money spent on beer lol like they really care about that. then they gave me a different number to call and speak with a manager who now saying she have to call me back they having some issues. yea i bet sorry im not sending u no money

The crazy people called me stating that I qualified for 7,000 grants and I would have to donate 130 to hungry children in Africa. They managed to get my card number before I figured them out. I started asking for their website and where on the website can I find that department and the caller got really frustrated. I pray that they don't use my card without my permission but I did use a green dot card that I can toss at any given moment. I truly thank the above people for posting cause I could have been tricked. I also ask her to take the 130 out of  the 7,000 and she got frustrated. I just keep asking questions and they kept getting very mad. Truely a HOAX.

i got a call to saying i got a grant for 7000. they said the same to me as they did lashaunda. that i would have to western union them 130 dollars. glad that this site is here or i would be out 130 because i to have bills to pay along with four kids to support.

This Number Has Been Calling Me Telling Me I Was Approved For A 7000 Grant And Asked Me To Send 130 Dollars In Order To Get This Grant But I Asked So Many Question as far as website they came from where are they located and i started to sense the frustation then when i called the number back to talk to zuliana or juliana fisher it kept going to a cellphone voicemail then she called back i told her i had some questions to ask and she got frustrated thats y i decided to check the number since i couldnt find the name and im so glad i did because i would have been out of 130 dollars and i would have been upset because i have several bills to pay thank you everyone who posted about theses people you def saved me

Just got a call from a similar number and they wanted $250.00 so I could get my $7,000 dollar grant. How far will broke a** people go to get money. Get a real job earn your money just like the rest of us harworking Americans!!!!!!

I just got that same call which is why I googled it. I knew it was some scam!

This number called me stating that I qualified for a $7000 grant. This does sound good however when I searched this number this site showed up. From what I understand it sounds like a scam. I thank everyone that posted.

But sir the grant is yours all you have to do for the money to deposit in your account in 45 minutes is to make a donation for $120 by western union . They want me to send the money to a city in INDIA call DELHI for real I'm not that stupid . And the government need money themself where the hell do they get money to send me hahahahahahaha

I am having the same problem. don't send the money and go to your local pd. once you send that money the "federal reserve bank" calls you and says you have to pay 375 to the same charity then once you send that they say "the money will be in your account after 7:30 pm eastern standard time and it never shows up. then when you call back the next morning they tell you that you have to pay another 309 for "taxes" for the government to release the funds. I am contacting my local police about then because I have names and phone numbers for all the people I talked to. Just DO NOT send them any money! Please don't get caught up in this scam. and if they keep calling you tell them that you will press charges for harassment.
