I am receiving calls from this number from a man with an accent whose name changes every time he calls. He says it is a legal matter.

just receive a message from this number heavy indian accent.... gave me my ssn, new where I worked and lived.... its a scam.....

I recieved a call from this # (563) 474-584
IA, USA. On March 15th & March 16th. This man claims I have malicious programs on my computer. This man knows my name & where I live. This man has a strong middle eastern accent. He said he is from the government, and that if I ignore his calls he will take legal action. I don't know what to do.

i receive a call from these people all the freakin time from different numbers, they even call my ex whom i haven't spoke to in months.  several other posts on different numbers state they get your info from a form you filled out online but then someone else says its fraud from a cash net usa place and one other, i have reported all the info that i have to several different agencies and you should as well

I got 5 calls from John Gilbert, leaving me threatening messages. He did not state what he was calling about but did say it was a matter of great importance that I not ignore the call. If I chose to ignore the call I would be contacted by the authorities. Somehow the number "John Gilbert" called me from was missing a digit 563-474-584. How does this number even get through. They are blowing up my cell phone and it is pissing me off because they always call during peak time. The number Mr Gilbert left for me to call was 646-378-2799. I can never understand the supposed Law Firm they are calling from and they don't want to answer any questions, instead they hang up on me. This is not the first time I have gotten this type of call. It happened in early February then again on March 2nd. The scariest part is that they have all of my private information: SS#, name of my bank, my address, and my full name. OMG how do we stop these people, who all have heavy Indian accents.

I don't believe them and they did this before.  I gave them a fax number to give me the document so I can look it over because everything they said was false but they claimed to have my information but I advised them that my info could have been compromised and I would have to investigate it myself.  They screamed and hollared and I hung up the phone.

My daughter has been getting calls.  I called back, asked for and address for the location.  He gave me an address and I informed him that I was now going to the police.  He said OK OK forget it and hung up.

I got a call from the same number.  Peter Smith left a message and was SCREAMING it!!!!!!!!!  Everytime he calls caller ID shows a different number.  Said the same as all of you--going to jail, etc.

I recieved a phone call from this number claiming I have an unpaid pay day advance loan. He knew the last four of my social , e-mail. He claimed I would be arrested for bank fraud, etc. I reported it to the attorney general, the federal trade commision. I suggest anyone who has recieved a call from this man do the same. your Identity is at risk. He is a scam.

the middle eastern man whose name changes every time I call back is saying that I owe the firm he represents $5400 or I will be served an affidavit and taken to jail tomorrow morning at 11:00 !?!?!?  he has all my most detailed information oviously taken from a loan application.  he is saying he represents Advanced America Cash.  I called them and they have never heard of him or his company.

I had my daughter call and the man said he need to talk to me.  she called again and asked for Jackmeoff and the man with the accent said " F$@K YOU WOMAN"  and hung up.  I dont think that this is a real law firm.

He called me three times in a row and said his name was jack tyson.  what is going on?  i'm old and not sure what this means.

I received a call from someone named Jack Jones calling from LLC cash partners of america. .He is a middle eastern man you can barely understand him. He's calling  about money I owe and a affidavit they are going to come pick my up.They know you SSI number, your phone number and you bank info.When you try to get info from him or question him he hangs up. What do you do?

They are now calling saying they are from the Lattman Law Firm in New York.  I called the Lattman Law Firm and they are in fact a  legitimate law firm but states an alert than unscrupulous individuals are calling and pretending (fraud) to be from her company and that you have owe money from loans you have taken out. They threaten you with being dragged to jail if you don't give them some money now.  Whatever you do, don't ever give them money!!!  Somehow they have gained personal information on you but never give them access to any way they can draw money from your bank or credit cards.  It is an awful scam!http://whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/6463782799#commentForm

Its all a scam....I just keep calling them/ and harassing them.

this company has been calling me telling me i owe money and i dont even own a bank account and he said i was going to jail cause i owe them 5437.87 and he is rude whaen i stsrt asking questions about the claim he hangs up on me i ask for a supervisor he hangs up

A man named Mark Taylor called my work from this number, they told him I was not in.   He proceeded to tell the persin answering the phone personal information about how a lawsuit is being filed.   I have refered this number to the MN Attorney General for them to investigate.  I OWE NOTHING TO THIS MAN!!!!!!!  I had recieved a very threating call about how I was being investigated for fraud a couple of days before today at my home.  Than when I called them back from my work number thats when they started calling work.  After they called here and hung up as my work has caller ID.

This guy keeps calling saying his name is something?? Walker, he has a STRONG Indian accent, I have to listen to several times to understand the whole thing. He said something about they have a lawyer and if I don't reply to this message there will be a lawsuit. I don't owe them any money and they need to stop blowing up my phone..The caller ID shows some 783 area code which doesn't exist in the USA but he says it is another number and area code in his message. I figure the 783 is from wherever he is in the middle east. They must think im crazy to take that call and get charged long distance for bs that has nothing to do with me...

RECEIVED A CALL TODAY FROM A MAN CLAIMING TO BE JAMES WHITE WITH A VERY HEAVY INDIAN ACCENT. HE SAID THAT HE HAD A TIME SENSITIVE MATTER TO DISCUSS WITH ME AND THAT I NEEDED TO CALL HIM BACK THE VERY SECOND THAT I RECEIVED HIS MESSAGE. THE MAN WAS SHOUTING AS HE WAS LEAVING THE MESSAGE.
I HAVE RECEIVED SEVERAL CALLS FROM THIS GUY AND DONT KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO. ALWAYS LEAVES ME A CALL BACK NUMBER OF 646-378-2799 AND YET THE CALLER ID SHOW UNKNOWN. I DO NOT ANSWER HIS CALLS AND I NEVER RETURN THE CALLS. I DONT KNOW WHO THESE IDIOTS ARE AND I REALLY WISH THAT THEY WOULD QUIT CALLING ME.

IS THERE ANYTHING THAT I CAN DO TO STOP THIS HARRASSMENT?

This person called my job and gave the name paul johnson. The accent is the same as the guy who called me claiming his last name was williams and he was calling to collect a debt. Which I do not owe anythiing to this company. The company calls themselves cash advance. I have reported them to my bank and the bank has started investigating the company after I spoke with my bank and was told the company had to actually post the payment in order to be able to investigate under the federal law of fraud. So the investigation is underway and they did not get any of my money. So it is a matter of time before they are caught. Note... the caller is always with an indian accent. Also, they use different telephone numbers including oversea numbers, unknown numbers.
