These calls are annoying to me, I'm not a registered voter so please don't bother calling me anymore also what would my opinion matter, it wouldn't change a damn thing...

Claims to be a survey.

Today is Friday 5-30-14.  This number called 3 times, once every 15 minutes starting at 3 p.m.  My answering machine did not get a message from the caller.  The called I.D. says unknown.  I am here looking at others who also got calls from that number 202-974-8147.

just a got from them they are a taking political survey. Did you vote for the give a way king in the White
House and asked about MA governor in my case. They gave their name as Sun Surveyors out of
Florida. Phone number 305-728-0130. I have not tried calling.

Same too except one was a telemarketer and the other was a Political call? W T F???

Okie Dokie - enough already with this number and I am profoundly deaf and use a TDD?  Calling, asking for money, then hangs up and immediately redials? You can't even block this number? What gives?

You shouldn't register your cell phone number with the DNC list. That will just give out your number. It is illegal to make a telemarketing call to a cell phone anyway, so the only telemarketers that will call are those that don't mind breaking the law anyway.

Of course, this call was a survey so it's exempt, though I'm suspicious of surveys. If it's the AFL-CIO as you say, then I don't want them to know that I oppose my incumbent Congressman, who is in their pocket and doesn't mind spending billions on fighter jets that the Air Force doesn't even want while our roads and bridges are crumbling.

We received three calls from this number today at 1:33 pm, 1:49 pm, and 2:04 pm. The caller ID was UNAVAILABLE. Because of numerous such calls from this area code, we have blocked it on our call blocker. In addition to being a nuisance, they are obviously slow learners. Out of curiosity I called back and heard a recording that the mailbox was full without identifying whose it was. Some advise not to call back, but by default our number on outgoing calls is hidden.

There have been 5 attempts to call our home from this phone number in the last 2 hours.  Finally had to set up my answering machine to "call block" future attempts.  Why are these people allowed to harass us continuously?  Between the phone companies and various government agencies there is enough "telephone traffic" being monitored that each of them should be able to identify these "abusers" and put a stop to it.  

Keep getting calls from this number. Dead air when I pick-up. Very annoying!

Actually they tell you they are:   SUN SURVEYS, 9425 sunset dr #150 ,Miami FL 33173 (350-728-0130).  We teamed up
and answered the robot poll.  Errors are corrected by a different robot voice altogether.  Since they asked about "your local race" they are pretty much a form letter.  Lazy insert name here operation.  In our case asked about our scum Governor of the opposite political spectrum from us.  

It is obvious from the long history of complaints that - actually - they are a legit exception to the Do Not Call list, but also are a hack for hire.  In this case since we KNOW that these calls annoy, they are probably FROM the opposite that you would expect.  Intended to generate extra fear of calls about a subject, etc.

Just answer honestly and nobody will call you again.  Hah.

I had three phone calls this morning in 30 minutes.  No messages left.  One time I answered and it was a hang up.

They called and I hung up then they called 10 minutes later and I hung up.  Stop calling me.  I am on do not call registry and will report you the next time you call from Washington DC.

Partner and I got called at the exact same time from this number but neither of us picked up. Seems like telemarketing survey based on other reports.

This may be AFL-CIO related. I don't answer or respond when a caller's default caller ID display fails to show the caller's identity. Four calls from this number today, so far. The AFL-CIO legitimately has my phone number. There may be a campaign or issue they want me to take action on, or this may be related to fundraising. In either case, I'll only pick up their call when my caller ID reveals who they are. Even them I would be skeptical, especially if they are asking personal information or asking for money.

Called this morning and left no message.  I forwarded the number to the Do Not Call List, which is a BIG JOKE in itself.  

I received a call from 202-974-8147 on 1/9/2014 and they left no message.  I have no idea how they got my cell number or my unlisted phone # at home.  I am tired of this and my loss of minutes on the cell phone.  Is there a way to try to stop this??  I feel it is an invasion of my privacy, especially on the unlisted line.  I am open to advice.  Thanks
