I have this 19.95 charge on my bank card with this number attached to it for ID theft protection. However when I call it I get a message sayimg number can't be completed as dialed. I can't cancel
if I can't contact them. I got the subscription over the phone with MD 24/7. I can't get in touch with them either.

IMC is a aggressive deceptive company. The person IMC rep that posted a comment that they were not deceptive is one of their fellow liars. Lets face it magazines with the internet are being more obsolete. They put on the phone the fastest talking most deceptive pros they can find to fleece you. My son had 600 magazines at a cost of $1200 that they said he ordered over the next five years. They absolutely have no regard to stealing and dishonestly making sales. I would love to put them on 60 minutes for the SCUM BAGS that they are. Never buy any magazines or even take a call from these people.

SO I GOT THIS CALL N I TOLD THEM AS WELL THAT I DIDNT WHAT THE SERVICE BUT WHEN I CHECKED MY ACCOUNT THERE HAD BEEN 79.63 ALREADY BEEN CHARGED I CALLED MY BANK N I CANCELLED MY CARD N I ASKED IF I COULD GET A STOP PAYMENTS BUT THEY COULDNT REIMBURSE THE AMOUNT SO I CALLED THE COMPANY CUSTUMER SERVICE LINE TO GET THE 6 DIGIT APROVAL CODE TO DO THAT N THEY WOULDNT GIVE IT TO ME THEY SAID SOMETHING ABOUT HAVING TO REPORT IT TO THE POLICE FOR FRAUD ON MY CARD N I TOLD THEM I HAD ALREADY DONE THAT N THEN THEY FREAKIN HUNG UP ON ME!!!!!! UGH SO I CALLED BACK N ASKED TO SPEAK TO THE PERSON BUT THEY KEPT PUTTING ME ON HOLD!!!!!!I AM STILL TRYING TO GET THAT CODE BTW THIS ALL HAPPENED TODAY!!!!

I am having the same problem with this company they are scaming me too.

i have had this number calling me all day and they said "your lying this is you" didnt even say who they were or what they wanted! WHAT THA HELL!!!!

The same company called me from a different number and at first I was interested and then told them that I didn't want the product.  When I checked my account, they had already debited my account after I told them I didn't want anything.  I called my bank, but what else should I do?

My daughter just got scammed with this company.  I want to report them to the Better Business Bureau but the only thing I have on them is the Fax # which is 727-536-9997 and a phone number of 888-670-8870.  Does anyone have the full physical address of this company?

I am STILL dealing with this company. My bank refunded my $79 but I am still getting calls and bills from IMC. I am working with the Better Business Bureau to try to resolve this but we are just going back and forth. I will let people know if I get out of the charges somehow. I'm hoping this doesn't go on my credit. I just don't understand how they don't allow people to cancel. It's just beyond me.

This Company is the big BULLS*** scam ever. Constantly calling me day and night, threating me about my credit saying that i owed over $1000's for magazines i didnt even select nor want. I fell for their stupid scam cuz I thought they were the NME (National Magazine Exchange) my actual magazine company.  At 1st I thought I was just making a payment to my legit company till they started calling me everyday telling me they arent associated with them.  They call with static blocking out anything their trying to say, constantly trying to change the debt amount, providing flase name, no official billing or contract agreements. They dont even tell you how much your gonna owe till after they have your information. I notice they were taking money out my account and reported fraud to my bank, got my money back yet they still trying to contact me. Please help with any useful information to get these debt collectors off my a**.

the numbers some people have posted that they have is wrong it is 1-866-394-9149 they scamed me too. they sent my account to collection im not paying anymore money to them they have already taken enough and the diamond watch is bull they dont even send it to you they just want to take your money.

The guy told me he was new so i felt bad for him, I heard a beep while we were talking and right then i knew he was recording me and then I tried to hassle information from him but he was speaking so fast I couldn't understand. His name was Cory and he had my address and I ABSOLUTELY DID NOT give them my card number or bank account number. He said he was going to transfer me to his supervisor to confirm my watch order along with the magazines, I kept asking him about the charges but he refused to answer and i got his supervisor. I told the supervisor I wasn't interested, and the b*****d had the balls to ask me if i had told that to Cory and why i would want to cancel such a good deal. Dumb f***, why i want to cancel or not is not ur concern! he hung up on me. Now I'm scared they might charge me. Did they charge u even though they didn't have your bank account number???

This is a scam, I have not recieved one magazine from yall and I even sent a certified letter cancelling the order, I even have the green slip from whoever recieved the letter with their signature on it. Now today I recieve a CSI letter from a collection agency in the mail. This is bs. I will get a lawyer if needed.

IMC is a legimate company with a legitimate service but they do use very clever marketing tactics to rope people in.
I have used this service twice and they both times delivered on their promise with the magazines but coming through with each and every magazine ordered right through to the end. They also ceased automated payments from my accounts at the correct time.
However, I was quite unsatisfied with the "diamond watch" which was just a cheap $5 watch with a miniscule crystal on it and who know what that is. With regards to the sweepstakes I never got specific documentation on it, and it bet that was simply a lottery ticket placed on my behalf.
I won't use them again because of the rubbish they gave me in the introductory offer. I also caution getting involved with such companies because they have a million phone numbers that always change. You can't get to their customer service, instead you get routed to spin-sellers.
Once you sign up, you will find it impossible to get out the contract. I think many of the complaints against this company are from people who got caught in the marketing hype and then had second thoughts and tried to back out. Those above who said they didn't receive magazine, the reson for that is very simple: This company has to make arragments with each magazine company and pay out contracts with them, and then the company sends it to you direct. This process takes time.
Overall, I do not have a problem with IMC and their service. They are legitimate and subject to constructive criticism. However I do warn all consumers against purchasing anything from telemarketers. Its a dangerous world to get involved with.

I just received a call from IMC (International Magazine Company).  the call came on my cell phone.  I thought this was strange since I never give my cell number out.  He stated that I was entered in a sweepstake thru my Visa.  This was strange also.  I wasn't entered in any sweepstakes.  I asked how he got my cell number and he said it was thru my Visa.  This is not true.  He went thru the hole thing as in all the other complaints that I have read.  All the offers and all the magazines and the watch.  He stated that he was new.  I tried to call the number and was not able to get anyone.  He had my address and I asked if he had my card number he stated that he didn't.  He called my cell from 727-259-7017.  After I hung up, I immediately called my bank and told them of the call.  I didn't give any card information but my bank has advised me to keep a close eye on my statements to be sure nothing is there that is not familiar.  Good luck to all of you that are fighting to get your money.  (4/20/2010)

Same thing to the letter. I accepted the terms of the offer, then realized I didn't really have the money. I recieved their paperwork in the mail today and tried to call to cancel. They talked me down to a shorter service by lying and saying the account was not subject to cancellation. Then I got on google and looked up the ftc and international magazine.  
   I called them back.  I was firm. I didn't take no for an answer. I pointed out all the lies each person had told me, from the initial call back from the supervisor to the customer service reps today.
   Lie number 1:  The supervisor said, " We hope you don't cancel".  This implies that you can cancel." Where I was told repeatedly that I could not when speaking with them today.

    Number 2: When I called back after dropping my agreement to 1 year service I was told by a manager that I could not cancel now because I had changed to a 1 year agreement whereas I could have when I was on a 4 year agreement. The lady who changed me from one agreement to the other said I could not cancel even under the 4 year plan.

     There were many other small lies I kept trapping them in but they kept reading their scripts and I kept catching them.
   I also mentioned that their sales tactics were unlawful according to the FTC. This made more than one of the 4 people I talked to today pause.  They start their spiel with offers of free stuff then eventually get around to the pitch. According to my research online, they must pitch you before offering gifts. I found this on FTC.gov.

   Anyway, I let them keep the initial 40 dollars they took as a cancellation fee(I'm such a nice guy), but they cancelled my account. I was on the phone an hour arguing with one guy, then 15 minutes with a woman, on hold for 15 minutes when a manager came on and said, we've decided to cancel you!  LOL!
 
    I feel absolutely stupid for ever talking with a telemarketer, now I'll go change my debit card.
