Account cancelled and new cards to be issued.
Charges removed from account.

Got a call from this number today. I was informed that there were charges to my credit card. The charges were made in Dubai. They will remove the charges from my account. I will get a new account and I don't have to pay the charges. Glad I answered this call.

RBS fraud department. Citizens bank and many others associated with them. Legitimate.

I get calls from this number frequently and I don't know who it is.

never leaves a voice mail figure its not important if they cant leave a message

this company keeps calling but when you answer no one answers.

I've had at least 40 calls in the past 2 weeks from this number. They never leave a message. I don't have a mortgage or any credit problems. If I don't know the caller, I don't answer. Eff them.

Continuous Calling

I got a call today on my cell phone, when I answered it disconnected.  My caller id says the number is from Bridgeport CT.

I,m getting call from this number several time.They said I have a account with them.
They asked my SSN number.Did not give it to them.

Two calls today, July 15, 2010. I didn't answer.

They've called my house several times today. When I answered, all I got was a busy signal. I tried calling back, all I got was a damn busy signal. It's annoying!

The call at least 8 times a day... I do not know why???

My wife and I were 2 hours from home at a restaurant when they said the card wouldn't go through.  Well I have a credit card through Fred Meyer / Kroger, which I found on their site that's owned by RBS Citizens.  I just today got a missed call from this number and when I saw some of you saying "security" and I went to my Mastercard's site, I figured it out.  But it's retarded that my credit card won't work when I'm only 100 miles away!!!

I saw this # on caller ID and let it go to the answering machine.  No message was left.  I immediately googled it and came into this site.  As I was reading and saw "RBS," the phone rang again from the same #.  My policy is to never answer such calls, but something pushed me to take this one.

A woman asked for me by name, and then said, "This is Mia calling from the RBS security department..."  and went on to explain that a charge for $250 had been made on our card.  She named the establishment, a golf shop. My husband is visiting family in Florida (we live in Connecticut). He told me 2 days ago that he was going to buy some golf clubs. A large purchase made far from home triggered an alert at RBS, and they called to see if it was ok. I was sure it was ok and told the lady so.  After hanging up, I called my husband, and indeed, he'd bought clubs for $249 and change today.  

All I can say is my call was legitimate.

I also am getting at least 3 calls a day from this number.  As soon as the answering machine picks up, the caller hangs up!  I'm getting really sick of this since it's been going on for about 3 weeks now!

Just received a call from this number.  Picked up and just heard a click and silence.

3 phone calls today; first one and last one the person hung up; the middle call said some financial institution name but I hung up on them after I heard that.

After 3rd call, it turns out it was Citizens reporting possible fraud on my MasterCard

I have been getting calls from this number for the past 3 weeks and it does say Citizens Financial...well, to be frank, I am going to find out where it comes from and filing a harrassment suit as these calls are coming late at night plus sundays...state of Tn collection laws are very firm and they are violating them completely...I don't owe them anyway, but they are going to owe me before long....

I got seven calls from that number today!

Got a call tonight from a woman claiming to be from the Royal Bank of Scotland.  I said I don't have an account w/ them, she rattled off a few other names of banks that are subsidiaries of RBS, and Citizens Bank, my bank, was one of them.  Turns out it was their fraud department.  Somebody tried to use my credit card on a website I've never heard of but put the expiration date in wrong.  Citizens noticed this, flagged my account and they were calling me to verify the charges.

I'm getting calls from this number as well. I'm only 17. I have no idea what they want from me. I've been getting a lot of odd calls lately. Including plenty of blocked calls. I'm a step from getting my phone canceled. Especially after the last call I got. It was just one minute of silence, then some lady said hello. That was followed by one minute of her breathing into the phone. Then, she hung up.
