Calls and leaves no message several times a day

Called my work number.  When I answered there was no one there.  It didn't even sound like they hung up....

Been calling my phone of and on. when I pick up - noone answers, when I dont pick up - noone leaves message either...

They are a collection agency They kep calling my number looking for my daughters old boyfriend. when I try to ask for a manger they hang up and cll back in few weks and do the same thing. anyone have and idear as how I can stop this like cl=alling the state cosumer protection

so weird that this number just called my phone and asked for someone that had this number once before...3 years ago!! dont ppl give out their new numbers when they switch?? needless to say, this person was rude and obnoxious...finally i just hung up!
