These people have called my cell phone probably half a dozen times in the last year. It starts out automated, and then there's an option to talk to a live person. It always says something about getting a renewed warranty on my car. At first I thought it was a mistake, because I had bought a used car right before it all started. Tonight I asked to speak to a supervisor and the guy said "that's not possible" and hung up on me. They always answer the phone the same way too, the first words out of their mouth is asking you for personal information. It's clearly a scam, most likely for identity theft.

this person... whoever they are keeps on calling me.its  getting pretty damn annoying.

I also have been called by this number but refuse to answer it.

These pieces of s**t just called me and they have called a few times this past week! I have been just hanging up when I realize its a sales call, but today I pressed 1 to get more info! The first thing I was asked, was for my name and zip code. Then I was asked about the year and make of my car...I told them it's a 1987 Toyota Tercel and it only had 200k plus miles on it... then the little piece of s**t hung up on me!! I tried to call back, but it just says, press one to be put on our do not call list... and then hangs up on you again!

I find it funny that these c***suckers will take the time to annoy you, but when you press one, they just hang up on you! if you get a call from these d***heads, give them some bogus info, but make it sound good enough so they won't hang up! After you have them going and they think that they have a live one... tell them Travis said to Suck My Nuts!!

ive been getting calls from them ever since i activated onstar with my phone for a car show that i did with GM...........They are matchstick men, do not give them any info or u will be sorry

I got their calls too! I also have registered in OnStar. Anyone know what their sale reps want to sell so desperately?

I've been getting calls from this same number constantly for months.
Problem is that I'm 15 and DON'T even own a car so it's getting extremely annoying.

I get these calls TWICE a day on an unlisted number for a cell phone.  I don't answer if I don't recognize the number because it costs me, I don't OWN A CAR!!!  I don't need a car warranty!

If they are  indeed selling a car warranty it must mean our state's are selling our name and info upon auto registration. At least you can answer the phone now and tell them to Not call anymore. So if you bough a new car or an older one and recently got plates, one should expect a call. At least that appears to be the answer in this case.

Has ANYONE found a solution? Please somebody out there tell me there's something I can do about these people; they're driving me nuts.

I didn't answer this call as I assumed, and correctly, that it was a telemarketer.  I just registered my number through the national do not call list...does it take that long to activate?  or is that just another scam to get your number!?  I've had way to many of these calls on my cell, and I always hear a notice for "your second factory warranty"  That doesn't even make sense! Let's stop these clowns, I'm down for the cause!

These idiots called me and I asked them to give me their company name and number so that I could talk to a lawyer. Instead of answering my questions the sucker on the line told me that I had called them up!
North Carolina has outlawed these idiots, so I'm going to be giving the attorney general a call tomorrow along with this number. Somebody has to put these b*****ds down, enough is enough, period.

I don't ever answer out of area calls from numbers I don't know, so I haven't answered this one any of the 15 or 20 times I've been called from it.  Still, enough is enough.

they've called me and my Girlfriend a total of 3 times the past two days. no one syays anything, just silence. I called back, and nothing happened. im gonna try to wait long enough next time and give them a piece of my mind...

My daughter got a call from them on her cell while at school 2-11. Her phone got confiscated by the teacher because she forgot to turn it off. It  took me two days to get the phone back and she has detention because of their calling her cell phone= she can't even drive yet. While the phone was in possession of the school they called the next day about the same time. This made me look at her missed calls-- 1/3 were numbers that have repeated complaints about them. Doubt anything will ever get done- need to outlaw all telemarketing so that the scammers have no way of doing it- especially robo-calls.

They called two days in a row at about the same time each day! Once on Feb-12th and again on Feb-13th! I called the number back after cussing into the phone before hanging up and when i called back it said if i wanted to be placed on the do not call list then i needed to press one! If this does not work then i will hunt them down and do something about it my self!!! Oh yeah i have never bought a new or used vehicle with a warranty so in a way the joke is on them! Although every time they call it does cost me ten cents if i forget not to answer!

And I don't even have a car yet.

I have asked to be removed. i have got about 6 calls in the last year. How are these people able to stay active, when it's clear they are trying to get information for identity theft.
I asked to talk to a supervisor tonight and he said "thats not possible" and hung up.

I just redialed the number and the recording asks if you would like to be placed on their Do Not Call list. Just hit 1 and they should quit calling!!
