This guy is a scammer. Called Cam Cook and Sons Ltd. The scam works like this, he will give you a credit card to "pay" for item. Then once it's shipped they will claim it was never received. You will have will have no way to verify that, since you are shipping to foreign company under dubious conditions. The credit card company will side with the crook, and charge you for the item. So in the end, you'll be left with a big bill from the manufacturers and shippers and the criminals will have the merchandise and get their money refunded. They got their cake and can eat it to.

Sorry, but had to help a friend deal with this. Don't do it! Don't worry about the loss of business, just be thankful you searched and didn't get screwed.

Mr. Ben Wood  has contacted me 2 times by e-mail + 2 times by phone; when he recommended the Shipping company - and directed me to get a quote from them , so that he could pay for everything with a credit card ( including 60 Coca Cola Pub Tables ), something sounded haywire. When I received a Shipping quote that was unusually low compared to the size + weight of products that I have shipped over-seas; then I googled the Shipper " Data-line freight.com" and found this forum. Yes, I will only accept a Wire Transfer, but only by obtaining a quote for shipping by a Shipper of my choice.    Logdog3

Received email from Mr. Ben Wood (mr.benwood23@yahoo.com) asking for $6,000 worth of product to be shipped to Dean & Son in The Netherlands.  He wanted to use a credit card to charge product + $3,550 shipping cost which I was supposed to wire to the shipping company..Something seemed smelly about this deal so I ran his card and it was declined.  Also sent email to st.lukesimpsons@usa.com to obtain bank info for wire transfer - no response.  I checked shipping rates and found UPS air was less than $1,000.  The smell grew worse.  Did a google search and came across this site.  Needless to say, I will not be shipping any product or sending any funds to the fictitious shipping company.

We just received this exact same inquiry.  I contacted our credit card company to confirm fraud.

Here is the latest one from same guy benwood, he is trying to buy 10 kits of on board air systems from us and was willing to pay with credit card. I told him we will not take any larger payment with credit cards only via bank transfer or western union. I got little suspicious and searched his shipping address on internet and came across this forum. I am glad i found this. My advice to all internet sellers rely on your instincts and if you have 0.00001% doubt do not do any business with other party ( unknown) guy. Ask for bank transfer or western union/ Money gram only. Any how here is his email sent to us today.

i am getting the same here   large order gave me a credit card for payment in full etc  How does this scam work.

Our company received an email this morning from a gentleman by the name, Christopher Benson, using the email address, francisbenson13@yahoo.com.
He was asking for a quote on one of our products, which we gave him, and he wanted us to contact Airtime Shipping who's email is, airtimeshipping@hotmail.com, to figure out the cost of shipping from Nederlands to Haiti. The gentleman we were to contact was named, Williams Tomson. This "shipping" company estimated at ?5,512.78. We thought it was a bit high so we contact our shipping company and it indeed was about ?2,000 overpriced. Mr. Benson refused the offer of our transport company and wanted to stick with the overpriced one, Airtime Shipping.
Also he wants to make all payments by his credit card...

We have refused to further respond to them.

Signs of fraud: a business being hotmail,yahoo,gmail (not saying all, just keep your eyes open)
                     not being able to find websites for any parties involved...
                     going for the more expensive rather than less expensive

Keep your eyes open! Don't get scammed!

My husband makes custom wood pieces and has his own website for his business. He has received several calls and emails from a Mr. Kennedy Brown from South Africa. Mr Brown sent an order for a large number of pieces and sent payment by credit card. It cleared and went through. He stated the pieces would be picked up and shipped all at once. He sent the total amount of the order, including shipping. Where is the scam? My husband and I are very leery but we have not spent any money. Mr. Brown has paid for the product and the shipping up front. It does sound too good to be true and that is why I did this search. I am curious as to how this scam works. He called from a 216 phone number.
