The woman who continually calls has crossed the line of harrassment.  She will not take no for an answer.  One day I hung up on her and she immediately called back on the operator line (originally she contacted sales).  We explained to her another time that we do not benefit from her services, asked to be removed from her list and I have now received another call this morning.

MY EMPLOYER HAS BEEN RECEIVING MANY CALLS ALMOST DAILY FROM THIS NUMBER. MY STAFF IS BEING CONSTANLY HARRASSED BY DIFFERENT CALLERS. EACH TIME THEY CALL, WE REQUEST TO BE PLACED ON THE DO-NOT-CALL-REGISTER TO NO AVAIL. DO NOT ACCEPT THESE CALLS. CONTINUE TO FIGHT TERRORISM ANYWAY YOU CAN!

The "gentleman", and I use the term loosely, keeps calling our business line and is not afraid of being sued for harrassment.  If we can locate this person, my company will prosecute.  Anyone for a class action?????

They have called 3 times today looking for people who do not work here and asking my name. They are rude and harassing.

This number also called my office several several times harassing us for the same type of information and i threatened to press charges. They are relentless, rude and completely out of line and violating several codes of the better business bureau. I will do everything i can to find the people responsible and list them as such violaters on ALL public lists. I have already filed them as a complaint on the national do not call registry. Next step is having my LAWYERS send their main offices in CA a "nice" letter. Lets play kids.

I got a phone call from this number today, but they just hung up without saying anything.
Except for me it showed up as "Connect icut" not Sterling Global.

Sterling Global called my office at least 10 times in the last hour to confirm our Marketing Director's name and email address. The woman with a heavy wanted to email an invitation to an online marketing seminar. At first it was fun to make up different names and titles but she keeps calling back to confirm and it's getting a little annoying. They're pretty relentless. I called the Sterling office in CA but they asked that I submit an email with any questions or concerns.

Call came in from 203-824-6110. Woman with Philipino sounding accent and annoying voice.

Said she was from the BBB of our city 'government' and wanted to verify information; namely the size of the company and our address. I didn't buy it because I grew up on the east coast and know the area codes there and my company is on the west coast.

I made it clear that I wanted to get off of the phone (not by saying anything rude, just by tone and terseness). She began to patronize me by keeping me on the phone longer thanking me for being 'so nice to her' and have a great weekend etc.

I felt irritated enough to search the # and write this out. I intend to write to the company as well.

Lady asked to verify information from last year to send us an updated magazine.  Told her the same as last year, verify my phone number, told her well you called it right? So I said I was done talking to her and she kept talking so I hung up.  She kept calling me back and said I didn't have to be rude.  She called 4 times.

1-203-824-6110 also received calls from 213-629-4026 from the same company, Sterling International. Very rude and pushy, borderline abusive. They have ignored requests to be taken off their list and call many times a week, sometimes as much as a dozen times in one day. They ask initially for a department and when they are told that I don't have departments in my directory, they ask for names that have nothing to do with the department they requested. I have taken it upon myself to make their calls as miserable as possible and frequently transfer them to a special voicemail box that only I have access to. Wheee!!!

I'm the receptionist and they keep calling for our engineering dept (don't have one) and they will not take no for an answer. They are calling 4 times a day. I kept asking them to put us on their 'do not call' list (no help). So just now I practically yelled at him that if we continue to get calls from this number, we will contact our lawyer about harassment charges. They called right back but hung up before I answered. We'll see if this works.

Receive several calls from this number but it's a man, I guess, foreign accent. He/she is calling regarding the computer software we are using. Does not have a contact name so I'm unable to transfer to the appropriate person. He/she gets very angry and starts yelling at me because I can't transfer. I try to explain the process we have but they keep yelling at me or the other receptionist to transfer to someone. They call about 3-4 times a day. Very irritating.

Woman with a very annoying voice who called me twice within the same hour insisting on getting me to verify a bunch of contact information for invitations to a BI Event.

I received 8 calls from the phone number 203.824.6110 and when I saw that same number kept showing up on my caller ID, I told the person to not call the company again and please remove our number from their listing.  Instead of removing our number, a woman called back and I told her that I spoke with someone else at her company and asked her to stop calling. Once, again the man that called earlier called again and told them that I have them on caller ID and each time they call, they will get me. Now, I find that I'm getting a call from 602.713.1906 doing the same thing as the other company. They keep saying that they want to send an invite to a seminar. I just keep telling them not interest and remove the company from their listing.

They call at least 20 times a day, today I asked to be placed on the do not call list and they said they will keep calling because I gave them the wrong number when they asked for the corporate phone number. I gave the correct number so I do not know why they keep calling. One day the were tired of me so they placed a shrill noise that rang in my ears for 3 days. HMS TX

I am the receptionist as a large corporaion and have to frequently screen calls.

After numerous calls back from the same number and me flat out telling them, no, whatever service you have , we do not want, remove us from your list she even refused when I asked to speak with a supervisor.
They are now calling for a new dept. and it's a man, even though each time I say no, we do not want whatever it is you have (they never say what they are offereing) and our wish to be removed from the list.

i went to their website and posted a comment in their "contact us" field (bottom of homepage screen), telling them how annoying they have been.  i wonder if that ever gets read... maybe you guys should do the same...

We didn't get Debt something. A woman called asking for the sales department. Only our dealers speak with them. I asked which state she's in and she told me my state (AZ). We don't have an area code of 203 for AZ. So I asked if she was a dealer?

We're updating our data base. I forgot the specifics of the company, but I remembered that it fell in the description of our Marketing department so I transferred her there.

A little later in the day she called back AGAIN asking for the Sales department. I recognized her voice and the phone #. (she had a bad attitude so of course I would remember) I reminded her that she called earlier in the day and I transferred her to Marketing, I will transfer her again. She DEMANDED me to tell her what my position was and why I wasn't going to transfer her to Sales. I just told her I'm the Receptionist for this company and it's MY JOB to determine where calls should go to. She's not a dealer, Sales ONLY talk to dealers so she's not going to the Sales department.

Then she stated that I could give her the info of our Controller (phone # and e-mail address). I told her I don't have authorization to do so and she actually needs to go to Marketing since what her company needs the info for would be a Marketing person.

She said she'll call back and get some one else (I'm the only person that answers the phones, she'll ONLY get me LOL) and hangs up on me.

Don't give them info. It's like pulling teeth just to find out who they are. And if you ask what state they're in they (or maybe it's just her that's calling)will always say the state YOU'RE in.

I hate this f****ng girl that calls me 3 or 4 times a week! she has the most annoying voice and can barely speak english correctly, And aside from all that annoying s*** she never takes REMOVE ME FROM YOUR LIST seriously! she keeps calling!

These calls originate from Sterling Global (http://www.sterlingglobal.com/) in the Philippines.  They've been calling for years on behalf of multiple clients.  They ignore the National DNC list, they do not put you on their DNC list, and they will not send a written DNC policy (as required by law).  They spoof the CID they use, and they will become verbally abusive if you piss them off too much (including calling you back to harass you).

You can call Tina Russell (probably a pseudonym) at 714-442-3649 to complain.  She's in the Philippines; this is a VOIP number that rings at her desk.

Got a call from this number and was asked:  "Can I speak to the owner?"  I said "What?"  The girl repeated:  "Can I speak to the owner?, Is this Taxi Man?" (or something like that. . .I have no clue)and told the  female voice she had the wrong number.

Received a call from this number.  Asked to speak with my father by name regarding his unsecured debt.  I advised her to remove our name from her calling list, and she said she was calling from a Citibank and was not selling anything.  Asked her to confirm which bank she was calling from and she responded Bank of America in New Haven, CT.  Definitely sounds like some kind of scam to get naiive folks personal identity info.

2 calls from this number today - left message on my voice mail - no one there just the sound of background noise.

Received a call at dinner time from this number.  A foreign sounding young woman asked if I had heard of Owens Corning products.  As she proceeded I asked her to please remove me from her list.  She asked why I would want to do that since she wasn't selling anything.  I told her I was eating dinner and did not appreciate her call.  She kept talking and told me she'd call at a more convenient time...she wouldn't take no for an answer.  I was rather annoyed!
