Got a call from this number today and the good news is if your using IOS7 on an iphone you can now block this caller. Here is how , go into the phone app and you will see a small i in the circle on the right, click that.
next scroll all the way to the bottom and select block this caller. This number will get added to your phones blocked call list so no more calls from these vermin. However like most unscrupulous pests I'm sure they have a series of numbers they use to call so you may have to add more.

But for now ... silence.

This is a recorded message that begins by talking about the motor vehicle department but is a pitch for auto insurance.

Recorded message about changes to the law which could lower my insurance rates.  Press 1 to talk to someone or 3 to be removed.  Certainly a scam!!!

Just got a call on my cell phne from this number-no message.  Called number back and it's a telemarketer namd Mary sellig auto insurance

called cell ,state farm ,also sent a letter two days earlier. dont know how they got street address either right down too apt #. wants  to sell home,car ins dont own either

Auto insurance scam.  I pressed one, and announced that this was the 35th Precinct stationhouse and they were now officially screwed.  Boy did he hang up fast!

These idiots called my 15 year old son's cell phone today.. Isn't that illegal?   His number and ours are on the DNC list and has been since we got the phones.  I really wish the DNC people would get off their behinds and do what they are paid a lot of money for.. So sick of it!!!!

This company is using a block of numbers from Level 3 communications, call level 3 communications fraud department and submit a complaint to them.

Got the call on a friday morn on a mobile phone. I don't pick up unfamiliar numbers. They didn't leave a message. Not important.

Got a call from 203-916-1174, let it go to voicemail, one second of silence on message playback.

Called today, no message left.

They left a message on my phone, which was cut off because their recorder likely talked while my announcement was running. From the rest of the message it implied they had something to do with the  DMV so I called them back. When I asked them what this was all about and who they were, they hung up op me - twice.
Clearly some sort of scam.

Scam - recorded message starts off with "This is a public service announcement" and mentions the DMV but it's just a scam to sell auto insurance.

I just received a call from them a couple of minutes ago they did not leave a message.

11:45 AM got a call 04/08/2013. No message left and I did not call back.

Got a call from this number on 4/3/2013. No message left, and I did not call back. Number has only called once.

This is a spam #.  So sick of this # calling my phone.  3 times a day - no message - when I call it there is jus a recording - no way to take my name off the list :o(

Don't know how this caller got my number for my cell phone.  Called at 3 pm 3/21/13, did not leave a message.  I also don't pick up calls when I don't recognize the number so hopefully they will give up and go away.

Called on my cell phone. Didn't leave a message. What threw me off was that I didn't recognize the ringtone, but it has to be something on my phone, right?
