I get calls from these people all the time..Is there anyway of stopping them fromcalling..They call several times a dayfor a while then stop for a week or so and try again..

These guys are a joke...even told me they were the attorney state general law office... Never even told me what company they represent... I called them constantly for an hour and really flustered them...  All i can say is good luck for what is about to unfold for you...lmfao

I got a call from them today...Saying they wanted to hear back from me or my attorney. And to not egnor the call. And said his name was Richard Watson. Strange name for someone with such a thick Inidan accent. He ended this supossed business call saying If I don't call him back he wishes me all the luck for waht is going to come upon me! I owe no one any payday loans if thats what this is. I own my house and car in full...So this really sounds like a scam!

I GOT THE SAME CALL THIS MORNING, SOME INDIAN DUDE TELLING ME THAT IF I DON'T SHOW UP IN CALIFORNIA COURT ON MONDAY MORNING,(WHICH IS IMPOSIBLE BECAUSE I LIVE IN MARYLAND) THEN I WOULD BE ARRESTED FROM MY WORK PLACE MONDAY AFTERNOON! I GOT THE SAME STORY AS EVERYONE ELSE... THAT I COMMITED A CRIME OF SOME SORT AND DID AN ILLEGAL MONEY TRANSFER, HE EVEN READ OFF THREE CHARGES THAT SUPPOSEDLY WHERE BROUGHT AGAINST ME! I TRIED TO ARGUE WITH HIM BUT THE LANGUAGE BARRIOR WAS TERRIBLE, I GOT OUT OF BED AND DROVE TO THE BANK AND GGOT A PRINTOUT OF ALL MY BANKING TRANSACTIONS SINCE OCTOBER 2010 ( OCTOBER IS WHEN THE MONEY WAS SUPPOSEDLY TRANSFERED) I THEN TOLD THE BANK TELLER ABOUT WHAT HAD HAPPENED, THE BANK TELLER TOLD ME TO CALL AND REPORT IT TO THE POLICE, THE OFFICER THAT RESPONDED TO THE CALL TOLD ME THAT HES HEARD OF THIS SCAM A MILLION TIMES AND THAT I SHOULDNT WORRY ABOUT IT. I'VE ALREADY GOTTEN 3 MORE CALLS FROM THIS SAME NUMBER THIS MORNING!

They have called 3 times today and want my attorny to call them .Whata waste of time .i will report 3to fcc

I received this same call today from 0000 at my work X 2, and cell number.  The accent was so thick I had to ask him over and over again what he was saying.  He was very threatening that a case had been filed against me and then he said you don't know why I'm calling?  I said I have no idea why you are calling, he then said to get an explanation I had to call the Sr. Atty., Michael Carter at 760-851-0932 to settle the case otherwise by Monday it would be very bad.

I have received several calls and yes the guy said his name was Kevin Holmes.  He had a very thick accent (Indian or something.)  Same thing as everyone who wrote have me or my attorney return call regarding a on line pay day loan.  I have never asked for a online pay day loan and would never do it.  this must stop.  I called back after being hung up on and no one answered the phone.  I waited 5 mins and called back and a gentleman named Ted answered and then when I said what just happened he just hung up.  I called back again and got an answer machine which said leave a message and the message box was full.  I am ignoring them from now on.  They talked to fast to even hear the name of the Law Firm

Got a call on my cellphone and work today from this number and it was some idiot with an Indian accent stating that I had criminal charges filed against me in California.  Little this this idiot know that when he call my office number, he had call the State Patrol Office in my State as I'm a Police Officer.  Idiot hung up as soon as I identified myself as a Police Officer and that I had traced his number and location and was passing on the information to the State Police and FBI in California.  Guess he is probally doing an Indian rain dance by now!!!!

I am getting the some call from D. Lewis.  She has called for two week.  I called back last week and talk to someone else.  I listen to the speech and he ask if I had any question I ask for there police number and he hangup on me.  Today Mrs. Lewis called and told me I have not return her call.  I told her I talk to someone in your office and they hangup on me and she did the same thing.   I have talk to the state attorney in Maryland and They said got info, but don't give them info, plus they said keep track of the phone call.  you can file again them.
It is a big scam.

i GOT A VOICE MESSAGE FROM 760-262-0973 ON BOTH MY CELLPHONE AND WORK PHONE. SAYING  THEY NEED MY OR MY ATTORNEY TO CONTACT THEM , & THAT IF I IGNORE THE CALL, ALL THEY CAN DO IS WISH ME GOOD LUCK! WHEN I CALLED THE NUMBER BACK NO ONE ANSWERED, THEN FINALLY WHEN I GOT SOMEONE THEY SAID THEY HAD 3 PENDING CASES AGAINST ME. THEN I ASKED WHAT COMPANY I WAS BEING CHARGED BY, HE HUNG UP! PLEASE ANYONE WHO IS GETTING THESE CALLS, REPORT THEM TO THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION ASAP!

These dumb a** people called me today

I keep gettn phones calls form a man who says name is jeff hardy he calls my place of work my home phone and my cell phone..it is getting really bothersome..he also uses a unknown number and 206-237-0049 I have not return his calls, I was advised that this is a scam to get money from me..claims i have a payday loan..which i dont..what worries me is how did this person get my information..

YEP. THEY KEEP CALLING ME TOO. I HAVE OLD PD LOANS AND SOMEHOW THEY HAVE MY INFO. I AM CHANGING MY NUMBER

I get messages from these people daily and I think instead of an Indian accent they are Nigerians. This is why we should just say no to all immigrants in our country. These calls are ridiculous!!!

i keep reieving a call from this man named Joseph Daniels, with of course as any others a n Indian accent. He is claiming he knows all information about me and i need to caome up with a payment for a loan I got and never paid. He wishes me good luck in life if I do not get back with him and or my attorney doesn't reply back. He had on one call told me if i do not reside in New York for a court date the following day I would have a bad record put against my social security number, which he knew???)  but I did not inform he was correct, he stated I would not be able to get a home or live a healthy life? Wow this man is insane, I live in New Mexico and he wants me to show up next day in New York for a court date for who knows what. He also claims I could fax him over paperwork with my cc number and or western Union a amount of money he states I owe. Till this day i recieve hone calls from him and the call comes through as "0000" ??? If this is legit I told him i want no more phone calls of harrassment and under NM law they need to either serve me etters by mail or they will get reported for harrassemnt at a place of business and to let everyone know it is legal to let them know before cnverstaion persists that the conversation is being recorded by who or whomever represents you. Please help get this so called collection agency to stop harrassing innocent people.

Been getting these calls for the last week. 1st one was from guy (heavy Indian accent) saying his name was Andrew. Today 2 more calls each from a woman named Lisa Smith (same heavy Indian accent) from the Law offices of James Parker claiming the same thing as everyone else on here has stated. I've contacted my bank & have made them aware. The told me I'm not the first person to report this type of scam.. whatever ya do don't give them any banking info....

This is a scam. I have received the same calls for the past couple of days one number is 347-735-5135 and the other number is 760-851-0932. They are wanting you to give them your information so that they can go into your account and take your money. If you have went on the internet and put in any information about yourself account number, ssn# phone number they have it. I have contacted my provider to have my number changed. I live in the state of Illinois and they are telling me they are going to have me prosecuted in the state of California no way they have no jurisdiction over me in Illinois and plus I have never gotten a loan over the internet. My husband and one of the guys went back to back and believe me they are no match for my husband. But if you let them scare you they will. If you get this call again tell them to fax you the information. Guess what? They are not going to do it.

i recieved a call from the same number 0000 on my cell today and when i listened to my voicemail the number the guy said was 760-851-0932 and he said his name was Mike something.  when i called back the number he was very rude didnt let me get a word in and when i tried to talk to him after he was done reading me my "charges" he hung up on me.  I was a bundle of nerves and panicked!  well i am glad that this is a scam and i have nothing to worry about.  thanks for all of you having a very similar situation!

I am  so glad  i  thought of  looking  this  up  they  have  been calling  me for a month   scaring  me  telling me  that i  committed three crimes  check  fraud , bank  fraud   and  i could  not  understand  the  last one   and  if  i did not  make  a settlement payment  on pay  day  loans  i  was  being  served  tommarrow They  were all rude  and  when  i  called  them  out  on  it  said  i never  got a payday loan  with  these companies   The  #  that comes  up on my phone  is760-851-0932  the  person  says  their  Officer Michael  from the ohio states crime  divsion  Scam  Scam Scam

I got the same message this afternoon.  I'm tired of this already.  I understand everybody is being called, but does anybody have a real solution here??    Any action that can be taken to stop them from harassing me at work and at home?  Enough already.  

Really....Any ideas for stopping this??  

By the way, the person above (TN) who says they have your information is correct.  They have my social security number and phone numbers....he read me my ss # over the phone....it feels sickening to hear somebody else has it.

I received a call today and last week from this number and it is a fraud.

I just got a call from these people saying my boyfriend had had a complaint on his name and ss# and give me the last 4 numbers in it. He had a serious Indian accent and said he needed to get a lawyer and go to court I told him I needed to call my boyfriend and I would call him back he give me a number to call him back at 7608510932 but he called from a 00000 number.....something is very wrong with this situation when I tried to call back it has a busy sound....I'm reporting the asap!!!!!!!

Ok, thanks to everyone that posted this helpful info. I admit that I did take out a payday loan but I have my documentation for it! I got the same threatening call...saying first I was being sued for $400, but once I go to court it will be $4000. Then I was told I have 3 criminal charges filed against me and that my lawyer should contact them immediately and good luck. I told them that this seems fraudulent and 3 different people got on the phone (all with heavy indian accents) and I eventually was just hung up on. When I called the number back I was hung up on...and when I finally got someone on the phone, he asked to me not to call there! I was worried at first but my gut told me this was a scam! Thanks again to everyone that came forth!

These people are relentless. They call multiple times a day and leave voicemails that you cannot understand because of the heavy accent. The caller ID comes up as all zeros. The person leaving the message tells me that I better not continue to ignore the calls and that it is time sensitive and that I must retain an attorney. Absolutely ridiculous. All hours of the day and night as well.

I just received a call from Michael Carter from Cash Advances saying that I owe money and I have 3 charges against me.  I call my local Attorney Generals office and she said DO NOT GIVE ANY INFO out about yourself to these people.  They said the sherriff will be coming to my work tomorrow.  Very scary to me to have this call.  Watch out for this call 0000 comes up on your cell phone and the number they leave is 760-851-0932.  They wanted $798.36 by 2PM or they were going to have me arrested for fraud and theft.

they called me today morning, actually i knew already who calls me when i saw 0000 number on my caller id and i decided to PLAY with their nerves   this time. The guy who spoke to me told me that i need a attorney immediately , i said why , he said because i have charges against me , and transfered me to another rep .
i did the following. please , be aware they have your SSN and be careful with that, put fraud alert with all credit bureaus so no one can use your SSN for any reason.

XXXX(it was MY SSN but i said no, it is not, after i said NO IT`S not, he said NO IT IS YOURS,I SAID NO IT``S NOT MINE, after repeating couple of times that it`s not my SSN finally he understood  that maybe he called wrong number, and guess what he asked me----????? lmao, SIR  WOULD YOU LIKE ME TO CHECK IF THERE IS ANY CHARGES AGAINST YOU BY GIVING ME YOUR SSN , DOB, ADDRESS, AND DRIVER LICENSE NUMBER, can you imagine , how stupid they are? they thinking that it is easy to rip off Americans,  )

a month ago they were trying to rip me off regarding Government Grants, asking me to pay $199 in order to verify my identity so they can send a money trough Western Union, ya right!!!! if Government wants to send me a money they will without calling me..
SO, be careful, and don`t give them any information, we have to fight with them , just disregard them, don`t tell them that you will sue them, it`s worthless, you can`t , they are not even here in US, so far, i don`t think so.

I got the call again on 3/3/11.  I called back and talk to the same guy.  I told him that I talk to the state attorney in MD and CA and the was looking in the there law office.  He hang up.  I called back and the put me on speaker phone and were not talk to me.  I told them there are 3 civil and 3 federal charge from the state attorney office in MD and CA for them.  I filled today with the FCC on them.  

This is a big scam.
