Just got a call, did not recognize the but answered to see what kind of crap this time. Said hello twice-no response and was hanging up when a voice said "Goodbye".

Seems they are phishing for persons who answer unknown numbers. The phone providers and law enforcement have to get something done about all of these crap low-life callers.
We have over 500 different numbers listed, no duplicates. They change numbers every few weeks it seems.

Yeah eh? Me too! What are the odds?

SCAM - Calling to sell advertising in the Winnipeg Police Magazine, but this IS NOT a real publication. My office receives calls multiple time each day from these idiots. Multiple request to stop calling us has been ignored.
Also, the number they call from cannot be called back.

Apparently the individual behind this is known and their assets  have been frozen, however the scam continues.
